There was one Porsche 911 964 that was sold in japan back in 2003 and dont say that this is bullshit because i was their that very day with my freind whom was bidding for a Supra. I saw that car in the flesh and it game me tinggles down my spine. Also ive seen many pictures and video fottage and in all ive only seen replica's of these two legendary cars and i know that once apon a time on the Wangan Highway these cars battled it out. now i want to see some footage which i ill probly nver see

OK here it is. There was yes there was two cars nick named the Devil Z and the Blackbird. The Devil Z was a 240z that was heavily modified and there was a heavily tuned porsche 911 964. and they actualy existed. no one knew who the driver of the Devil Z was but many people in japan say that it was Smokey Nagata who told everyone than it wasnt. As far as i know that is the only person named the owner of the Devil Z. as for the Blackbird

Shima's car is an Ruf CTR "Yellowbird" renamed "Blackbird"

and Reina's car is an Nissan Skyline GT-R R32

@Legotruck82 yeah the whole series is on youtube and dubbed its actually created by the same company as initial d anime, but people are drawn differently to be more true to the wangan manga... its not as exicting as initial d but its almost as technical and focus's more on tuneing and overcoming the fear of dieing. has some very dense plot lines and theres alot of interesting characters but the main story is always the blackbird and z fighting for the top spot as wangan king

@SLRMC93 If you meant Maximum Tune, the Japanese cabinets depict Tatsuya's car as a Porsche 930/911 and in the NA cabinets, a Nissan Fairlady Z [Z33].
