The graphics level are almost exactly the same.

The major difference is that

1: it didn't have any rendering polish of a final release, which would have fixed most of it

2: What caught your eye the most would have been Link's, maybe duller colored???, costume featured in the original Legend of Zelda games. (Before SNES) I like that costume and would have loved to have had it in the game. But I have grown very attached to Ocarina of Time's Link as well now. WOOT Soul Calibur2

@Gamez1985 i hate those brown sleeves they don't really suit him after you play the released one and his eyes are weird, heres hairs almost ginger, i don't like it, but this game looks good none the less i just....it's hard to beat the greatest game of all time, the question is, if they made it in their original image along with the disk drive's delay would it be worth the wait? @TazoRSMC they were, zelda 64 was supposed to be on the N64DD. when it was scrapped in 2000 due to the gamecubes release, they cut it to a n64 cartridge, made it 3x smaller than the acctual game was planed to be, low resed the textures and boom OOT was born.

The final plot of the game explains why the triforce was cut out of the game. It was basically useless because the triforce is split among 3 people. So having it full makes no sense so it was scrapped, and the model instead used for the "Genesis" of hyrule.

it seems the early Zelda 64 used a lot more Mario 64 textures than the final.

For instance, the triforce room uses some textures from Mario 64, like the tiles on the floor, which are straight from Mario 64, no editing done whatsoever
