@whathisnamer i dont have the K adapter with a chip yet, but congrats on the lens I would advice getting a CPL filter for it , with a CPL you can get rid of the softness when using it wide open.
@whathisnamer You have to snip off the back if you want to use it for you 5D, I am actually less fan of this mount by pentax cause the adapter is too loose with allot of the lenses on like 3 out of the 5 lenses I got are really loose. Would recommend to find m42 or Olympus lenses cause those you dont have to alter the lenses just only use an adapter for the 5D.
i have tha new canon 60d, and i ordered a fisheye lens for pro optic but it dont fit my camera, i was told to just get a pentax to eos adapter but i have no idea wat would be that best one for me, wat size is tha best way to go........... thanx for ur time
@cuddietv there are actaully 2 kinds if pentax mounts in this video the pentax k mount or the other one the pentax p thread m42. Look a the back of your lens if it is a bayonet like in this video or have a screw thread which then means a m42. I will upload an M42 video soo so you can see the difference. There is no size difference just different mounts to the adapter.
@chungdha the back of my lens looks like urs, but thanx alot, im just dont know much about lenses, im a graphic designer just bearly getin n2 photography
I have an old KONICA f1.2 manual focus lense which I'd like to use with my EOS 550D. Any ideas on how I could go about making an adapter ?
Thanks and kind regards.

Great video!
I just purchased a porst color f1.2 off Ebay and I'm waiting to get my hands on it. I also checked out your videos shot with the lens.
Do you have any recommendation for cheap but good pentax k - eos adapter with af confirmation?

Thanks for the tip! Now I'll just have to wonder whether or not to do leverectomy to it. I'd love to use it on my 5D, not my old 350D but we'll see.

thanks

@on9kay Back part of the lens not the adapter, it need to be flat so the mirror of the camera would not hit it.
