  • why the fuck am i watching this?

  • I would need a massage after that music. Ugh.

  • Any one else love the sound the hand pump makes?

  • @TaurenBedtime I watch these videos for that sound, and the sound that the hemostats make inside the cups. I guess we're weird : /

  • Haha the student is out cold like halfway through.I gotta get one of these!

  • I just came home from China.

My mother wanted to get a Chinese massage but she didn't dare going to a massage place alone so I joined her and took a massage myself and I regret it. We saw "Traditional Chinese massage, had no idea it included cupping.

Now one week later I have 13 big purple marks 5 cm radius on my back and they're disappearing slowly as hell...

Is it supposed to be that way or did the massage women simply suck?

  • @mullewt it will totally disappear in 5-7 days .. cupping is very nice and it has more than1500 years history

  • @mullewt The darker the marks left on the skin, the more toxins that are brought to the surface w/the cupping process, also the more tension held in the tissue on the area applied (such as the back). Massage cupping is a great way for massage therapists esp. (such as myself) to loosen restricted superficial fascia-which is the connective layer of tissue just below the surface of the skin. Helps greatly to reduce tension & release toxins held in the tissue! HTH's!

  • Does anyone happen to know the name of the first song being played in the backround ? I would really appreaciate it .

  • @Quasarfi That is the gymnopedie from Erik Satie, there are three parts of it. Beautiful isn't it?

  • I'm researching cupping products and have found this video very useful. Thanks so much for posting, I now have a much better idea of what I'm getting!

  • Thanks for posting this. Here is the scientific medical understanding of what happens during cupping massage:

When suction to the skin is applied, as happens with cupping, blood that is flowing through vessels and capillaries is forced into that area. The capillaries are flooded and break, and the skin turns red. It may feel good, but it has nothing to do with "stagnant lymph."

  • I am taking Massage therapy at kaplan and I am totally fascinated with this Cupping. I our teacher is giving us a demo on tuesday. Cant Wait lol.
