  • Had this album since 1980. Never tire of it !!!!

How much of the crap churned out these days will last that long ?

Most bands now can barely play their instruments.

  • Arguably Brand X best Album! I love John Goodsall's little riff @ 1:33. Al D Meola WHO?????

  • Absolutely fucking brilliant album, words fail me.....

  • This is cool!! I never heard this album. I had Unothodox (fav of all time of ANY band), Product and Is There Anyone About?" Did they go rock after "Dont Make Waves"? I should know more about them (other than Phil) but I don't really. I really like this!!!

  • Excellent album...even without Phil Collins. these guys were still able to pull it off...Chuck Burgi is an excellent drummer!

  • Love this, even though it darn near killed me to learn to play it... But learn to play it, I did.

  • I beleive it was 1976/7 The Rainbow In London..........Goodsall had hurt his fingers ( Drunk)???

Anyway................I remember the night well.... Happy times, by God.

  • @teddingtontcu he had terrible bout of tendonitis. his arm was in a sling for months

  • Thank YOU Johnny G,

    crank it up!

  • Amen to that!!!!

  • can someone tell me what planet this band is from! thanks

  • @grazer770

    the 70's ;)

  • @JonP1961 yes, they dont have the inventiveness and vision like they used to. theres plenty of technique nowadays but nobody can compose music anywhere near this.

  • @grazer770

Algon (Where An Ordinary Cup Of Drinking Chocolate Costs £8,000,000,000)

  • @Talldrumr ...yeah, what a great title....Brand X were never afraid to inject a little humour into the sleeve notes!...And you gotta admit, that was pricey drinking chocolate even then!...

  • J.Dilla!!!!!!

  • Anyone remeber Atomic Rooster from whence Goodsall comes from?

  • I was floored when I first heard this ('79?) -- everything's top notch: the playing, the writing, the composure, if you will, of the players to get THAT close to excess without ever crossing that line

    Percy's work is fabulous (doh)

  • top of the line.

  • This entire album is an absolute masterpiece. It's absolutely amazing how they can be so abstract and act as one unit so effortlessly. All 5 members unleash their beast within on this one. Goodsall's chord structures are from another planet.
