Wish there was a game just think this just better graphics and animations.

Best tactic, Put your men in defence infront of your archers, take your cavelry and move to the side. wait till the enemy units reach your men then charge in with your caverly to flank them and catch them from both sides.

great video :) advice if you didn't , the MOST CPU hungry setting are the ragdolls , set them to 0 (will have smooth battles)

And yes, the tactics are AMAZING! I started playing this mod and was very surprised to find the battles actually very difficult because the enemy doesn't just spread out into individuals but actually stick together through most of it. I once had my phalanx (ranks formation) torn apart by a couple of archer cavalry units that flanked us and started peppering our troops from behind. By the gods, it all works as it should.

I'm glad you uploaded this, that hoplite combat is awesome! 8D Although the spears are usless when the enemy is face-to-face with you, the shield-bashing helps a lot.

And useful. ^^ Up close, the spears are much less effective, hence you can bash the sucker into a stun animation, step a few feet back, and use the spear as it was meant to be used.
