I am moving to St Pete in a few weeks. I can't wait to start fishing the area. I'm used to fishing the Outer Banks of NC with Berkley Gulp soft plastics. Can anyone tell me if they are as productive for flounder, etc in Fla as they are in the OBX?
Flounder is good eatin, but the those teeth is something new to me at least compare to northern flounder. They are bottom feeders (the reason why both eyes on one side.)
Those thongs are so easy to handle I cought 16 in one day and I had to catch every one one of them out of the air they were flying like kites when I pulled them over the peirs handrail they were all 1" short of the size limit which was 14 inches
What is the difference of having a flounder in a bucket of water and having a flounder in a cooler in ice? This question may seem, or is, stupid but I need to know because I am preparing to catch Winter Flounder in three months and I need to know how their skin is and all of that and the sizes yea but I know that already. But someone please answer my question! Thank You people!
This fucking video frustrates me!! Took you about a fucking minute to grip that flounder. You lucky his ass didn't flop out the bucket when you were pouring out the water. WOW. ..gfg!

@earthchild28
It's actually called a "Summer Flounder" which is referred to as a fluke on some of the East Coast.
