  • Quite magical. Very well done.

  • Shane, Unforgiven, Pale Rider, Butch Cassidy and the SD Kid, Gunfight at the OK Coral,

  • not many people wouldve included The Glory guys because of its lack of big name stars but this Peckinpah penned western is very underated

  • A very good selection

  • 1-Tombstone

    2) Once Upon A Time In The West

    3-Hang them high

    4-Last outlaw

    5-Young guns1

  • Thank you for your efforts........Magnificent. God bless the old west and god bless all western movies. good and bad...........cause the good will live forever !!

  • 1. Unforgiven

    2. Butch Cassidy and Sundance kid.

    3. Tombstone.

    4. Once upon a time in the west.

    5. Pale rider.

  • my top ten are: hombre (totally brilliant) unforgiven once upon a time in the west true grit (either new movie or old, but for sentimentality i'll side with john wayne's version) the wild bunch . the good the bad and the ugly tombstone the culpeper cattle company duel in the sun high noon.

  • 1) Once upon a time in the west

    2) The good, the bad and the ugly

    3) For a few dollars more

    4) The big gundown

    5) Companeros

    6) The mercenary

    7) Rio Bravo

    8) High noon

    9) Django

    10) The return of ringo

  • Well Done

  • Really great stuff, there was many movies there that seems worthy to look up. I do believe that you left out Pale rider though, a really great western by, and with, Clint Eastwood. Besides that, an amazing list of movies for all of us western fans :)

  • I like this list but I was surprised that Warlock with Henry Fonda and Anthony Quinn was not included. To a lesser extent no 'Soldier Blue' or 'Bad Company' although i suppose its hard to fit all in to just top 100 list. Was a nice touch to include'The Culpepper Cattle Company' that is a great western movie (my favourite) despite not having any big names.

  • In no deliberate order: Rio Lobo, The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, The Searchers, The Three Godfather and The Commancheros.

  • My five is, perhaps:

    1) High noon

    2) Once upon a time in the west

    3) Shane

    4) Dollars trilogy

    5) The man who shot Liberty Valance

Anyway, MrStanleyhitchcock, I love your nick. And yeah, you missed a few pictures, but that's ok.

  • 1. the commancheros

    2. for a few dollars more

    3. Rio Bravo

    4. Shane

    5. The seachers

  • Ox Bow Incident!

  • Excellent as far as it went!!

  • oooooooooh the missing

  • ufffffffff Unforgiven

  • Pat Garrett and Kid Billy ( Sam Pekinpah )

  • Let us ride back into the past. That would be wonderful .

  • The man who loved Cat Dancing

  • lol the last movies was shit.. classic is number 1 always.

  • 1) The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

    2) Once Upon a Time in the West

    3) Deadman

    4) For a Few Dollars More

    5) Wild Bunch

  • 1) Lonesome Dove

    2) The Magnificent Seven

    3) Pale Rider

    4) Rio Bravo

    5) Jeremiah Johnson

  • Open Range was not 1993

  • hey guys i am looking for western movie and i don't know neither the actors nor the name of it. but i remember that it has to do with 3 brothers and one is called the kansas kid and in the end they end up marshals.if anyone knows it's name please tell me

  • @crazytsip any movie with John Wayne or Clint Eastwood will be good or great. But here are some movies i like the best: True Grit, For a few dollars more, the man from Laramie, she wore a yellow ribbon, the searchers, mclintock, pale rider, open range, the good the bad and the ugly, Rio Bravo, the sons of Katie Elder, and a fistful of dollars.

  • @asdl805 all of them are good movies.i found the one i was searching.it's called the gunfighters(1987) with george kennedy.it may not be as good as rio bravo but i like it

I'm more with spaghetti western taste cause theyre much more realistic , brutal and that combat the stereotypical american westerns where they seem by my oppinion too theatrical and the good guy is also of high moral value .
  • They call me Trinity

Trinity is still my name ^^

  • awesome

  • The Wild Bunch

    3: 10 To Yuma (original)

    Dances With Wolves

    The Magnificent Seven

The Good The Bad and the Ugly 2. The Great Silence 3. El Dorado 4. The Wild Bunch 5. The Cowboys And its breaking my heart leaving a lot of great western out.
  • The Good, The Bad and the Ugly is not a western. It's an adventure movie set in what seems to be a made up land near the west. Still. it's my favourite cowboy movie, with Unforgiven, a true western.
