@TexasCoffee - Thanks Tex - I did not know the newer pressure valve would fit - for $40 its a good upgrade for those that want to tinker with the pressure setting.
@trixoptosi - if you want to increase the pressure you will need to increase the load on the spring so it opens at a higher pressure. Unfortunately you cannot do this by removing the washer on the valve as the washer is needed or the valve leaks. I suppose you might try putting some type of brass shim inside the valve to increase pressure on the spring.
For ~$40 you can switch to the new adjustable OPV. Simple to install and as the pump loses oomph you can adjust the pressure. Simple upgrade.

With this modification you finally increase the pressure or decrease?
I have thw same machine and i want to increase the pressure for the coffee.
and i dont have an adjustable opv(is same like yours)
