  • What you did after you put the weights down at 6:25 was extremely homosexual.

  • hey you forgot one thing we arnt ripped like you are

  • I'm surprised there was no triceps work in there but still a great workout

  • 4 sets of 15 for wrist curls lmfao

  • hmm man so should i do this kinda of stuff to get ready for lax? this is my first year playing and i am so nervous cuz its like i dont know what to do and how to get ready all ive been doing is running about 2 miles a day and wall balling. is this the perfect way to get ready in 2 months for lax?

  • @skateboarding Welcome to the greatest sport ever. What you should practice is wall ball yes, but theres three different ways of wall ball. One- one handed, two- short handed (hands close together about the middle of the stick), three- Regular. do about 50 each. One thing you have to do is use both hands, thats crucial. Good luck!

  • @skateboarding Running is a key part in getting shape so keep that up try and throw in some sprint work i do 100yds x 2 then 80yds x 4 then 40yds x 6 and finish with 20yds x 10 and then we run 2 miles make sure you get a good lift routine in so your not out-muscled on the field... that was my mistake my first year... other than that keep up the work and practice your shooting from time to time (overhand, side-arm, and three-quarter)

  • My bday is feb 3

  • @MrSyracuse123 mine too :D

  • My G'day ia

  • Imagine if Kyle Harrison lifted like Paul Rabil.... He would rip so much harder

  • we call those tea pots at my gym

  • you have awful form on squats

  • i love working out in that gym :) its amazing

  • what do you do on friday saturday and sunday? chill?

  • yea lets all tweak kyle harrison, why dont you all try shutting the fuck up until you play D1 lacrosse

  • watch your feet on the squats kyle, looks like you might be shifting your weight onto your toes. force should be driven through your heels, not the toes

  • i dont need to workout my forearms anymore if you kno what i mean ; D

  • Does he only workout on those 4 days of the week, or does he do other stuff on the 3 other days too that he just doesn't want us to know about?

  • To bad their is no such thing as off season.

  • hey guys can a defender do this workout, thats my other question

  • @drumsk8101 Does it really matter if he only goes half way down? He's Kyle fucking Harrison

  • is this a safe workout to do in season when you have practice 5days a week? 2 out of the 4 days i will do when i have no practice.. someone plz respond. thnks

  • did he say 3 sets of 60 push ups... WTF thats crazy

  • squeaky shoes

  • 4 sets of 20 ;)

  • @jvalko1 man up and take the pussy pad off the bar.

  • just to let you know it is smart to have a spotter when bench pressing

  • hes using a pussy pad for squats...come on kyle.

  • @tfrush11 not using the pad is for fat people that already have the padding. Why hurt your shoulders when there is no benefit from it?

  • Kyle Harrison has curves(; no homo

  • squat pussy pad

  • this is actually a pretty good workout

  • @ktmboy1989 ur gay

  • kyle is so gay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • where does he get his biceps?

  • Thanks for posting this, it's great and very helpful. Especially because you address each set of reps you're doing.

  • You should really keep your feet parallel when doing any kind of leg exercise.

  • hes gonna hurt his neck bringing his chin down when he does shoulder shrugs

  • I'm sure whatever he is doing its working for him... everyone has their own philosophy on lifting @Drumsk8101

  • elbows and toes are called planks.

  • @bobtheemperor826 Either planks or bridges...Doesn't really matter

  • 3:34 are called plankss there killer

  • horrible form on all

  • @nobleee357 too bad his "horrible form" leads to one of the best lacrosse players ever played

  • @nobleee357 sorry are u an all american and possibly the best lacrosse players of all time? yea i didnt think so stfu

  • sweet thanks

    PEACE OUT

  • @sharpshooter15

You are retarded. Lax is all core. With the exception to faceoffs.

  • i dont like to lift heavy wieghts BRAGGER

  • Elbows and toes are called planks

  • @tkdnns308 u actuallly need back shoulders and arms to

  • BURPIES!!!!

  • i noticed at around 5:27 during his squats, his feet are positioned slightly sideways. is this a careless mistake he made or is it another way of doing squats? because i learned to keep my feet straight

  • @iplayhockee he's a lacrosse player not a body builder so he is gonna make some mistakes and not have perfect form

  • its preference and the direction your feet point at what muscles are being targeted more.

  • needs more bicep workouts

  • @TheRickster92 Kyle Harrison is 10x the athlete you'll ever be. He's one of the best, the guy can do whatever he feels like doing.

  • He uses the pad for squats. I have now lost all respect for him as a person and lacrosse player.

  • @TheRickster92 fagest who gives a shit?

  • you dont want to slow it down you want to build fast twitch muscle fibers for lacrosse to be a explosive player thats why he is doing them fast

  • dumbell shrugs suck...go to a squat rack. put like 135-200. 4x-7

  • You got a plane to catch, Kyle? Slow it down mate! Up-one-thousand; Down-one- thousand.

  • what do you guys run for lacrosse training? I do like 3 miles....and sprints...

  • yea, i just play d and i do a mile and a half a day

  • 5 mile run. sprints. bicep curls. squats. lunges with weights. pushups...and

    p90x's ab ripper.

  • AB... RIPPER.... X!!

  • lol...it works...builds up the abs like crazy :D, and for lax all you really need is abs and legs

  • @tkddns308 what do you meen you need abs and legs? not matter which position you play you need alot of upper body strength... tell me how your going to shoot a shot with no upper body strength, its an easy save for a goalie except for 5-10 yard range... also on D how are you going to check someone with no strength in it you will do nothing to the offensive man with a week check...

  • @sharpshoooter15 well...u get alot of that power on your shots from the core

  • 3:35 is usually called the plank

  • i was doing planks at lacrosse training at school

and our varsity player was like "tighten up your ass!like your in jail!" to the whole team and we all fell doing the planks lol

  • What muscles do you work for the exersize at 2:00?

  • mainly your trapezius but also your exterior deltoids, I do it all the time its great

  • i met this guy. he taught me for 3 days

  • wanna cookie?

  • yes...yes i do

  • ya hey should go all the way down

  • When he doespull-ups why does he only go half way down. Shouldnt he be going all the way down and back up?

  • When you go only have way down it keeps the tension on your muscles and doesn't let them relax.

  • Respond to this video...

  • @drumsk8101 it might be that he just doesn't want to lock his arms. if you stop your arms before they lock, it's more of a workout. he does stop kinda soon though

  • @drumsk8101 hes going more than half way, and with wide grip you're not supposed to go ALL the way down.

  • @drumsk8101 it really doesnt matter. It is just how he likes to do it but you can do it either way

  • @drumsk8101 you dont lock your joints or u can damage tendons and ligaments

  • @drumsk8101 i dont think you need to worry about him. hes kinda good

  • @drumsk8101 he's doing 12 x 5 with wide grip dude, he doesn't have to go down to a dead hang

  • @drumsk8101 or he could do what he wants and score more goals

  • @drumsk8101 theyre called negitive pull ups..you try doing it 10 times and then see how it feels

  • @drumsk8101 going all the way down relaxes your muscles if you go halfway then you will keep your muscles working.

  • @drumsk8101 because if you go halfway your keeping your muscles fired up longer. if he went down and back up he would be letting his muscles relax.

  • @drumsk8101 no it works the muscles the whole time

  • @drumsk8101 who the fuck cares its kyle harrison.

  • @BrendanVogan it doesn't matter who he is. you still need to give 110%.

  • yeah and your not really supposed to lift your chin up all the way like that your supposed to move your body

  • @drumsk8101 after 90 degreess you just stress your joints

  • @drumsk8101 The reason he goes halfway is because it is only necessary to go 90 degrees. You can go the full 180 if you'd like.

  • @drumsk8101 actually going all the way down puts less strain the target muscles

  • @drumsk8101 that is only with chin ups. You go 90 degrees with pull ups.

  • @drumsk8101 those are dead hang pullups

  • @drumsk8101 its a demonstration.

  • yeh i only lift 135 i try to work up to 235 though

    o.0 lol

  • ok... the way he was doing benches you dont want to hyperextend your elbows...

  • dude the man can play lax like a god. hopkins rocks

  • he is a midi

  • u play lax what position do u play

  • elbows and toes is called a plank

  • great video dont listen to other assholes who talk shit.

  • elbows and toes how many names does that thing have its just a plank

  • Comment removed

  • So Men's Health Magazine knows nothing about lifting? ok...

  • And neither do the coaches at my High School who are professional body lifters that makes perfect sense.

  • the 1 he didnt know is act. for ur Quadratus lumborum (QL), the muscles on the side of ur body next to the obliques. they r secondary

  • wtf shut up hes not a gym guy but hes just showing what a good pro lax player does in the gym to get good

  • yea guys.. because kyle harrison has no idea what hes talking about.... (sarcasm)

  • he doesn't really. some of the things he said showed he didnt know much. and his form was pretty sloppy.

  • ye just coz he is a pro lacrosse player does not mean he knows alot when it comes to the gym.

  • that one he said he didnt now is for your obliques

  • pre-season means you should be doing olympic lifting and explosive movements bra

  • shrugs is ur traps

  • 'Elbows and Toes' is just your basic plank.

Oh and if your injured, don't do this workout, it will screw you up even more.

  • imma try this work out for lax this is gonna be my first year too

  • what if ur 11?

  • then you should not be working out ask your doctor

  • CORE STABLE

  • honestyl, guys? you better stay in the gym the entire time you arent playing. hahaha and about the oblique workout, wtf? makes you look like a box??? hahaha thats where all of your power comes from when you shoot!!! wow. good job man.

  • Except that's one of the best exersizes to work your sides, and obliques.

  • how long before your lax season starts do you begin this workout?

  • ya i was wondering the same thing. can someone answer ?

  • about a month or 2 before season is a good time to start to be sure that you're back in shape by season. it would be best if you atleast run and do simple push ups and other minor work outs at home all year long so that it's not too hard to get back into shape.

  • You better be running as hard as you possibly can then every other day. 2 months is not alot of gym time to get back in shape.

  • if you do like i said and run and do simple body weight exercises all year long then 2 months in the gym is plenty to get back into shape. you wont bulk up in 2 months, but 2 months of hard persistent conditioning will get you ready for the season if you actually try.

  • The one that he doesn't know the name of (3rd one in the excersizes i think) works your obliques...just sayin

  • that's what he works out, not the exercise name. I don't know the name either, but it's like something obliques. Like obliques extensions or something?

  • if your talking about the one Im thinking of, theyre called Boards at my weight training program. It's the one where you hold your self up, somewhat in a board position. they're timed and really work your core.

  • no your talking about a different workout. Planks or boards are really easy. Try to "hollow holds" Lift your feet 4-6 inches off the ground and your back like 4-6 inches off the ground, or have just your low low back touching the ground. Try that for minute.

  • yea we do that before practice. we do it while rotating our arms in a circle like motion. its really good for the core.

  • oh ya those are a bitch man, i hate when you have to have your arms above your head, also because it throws off your balance so you have to like lean forward

  • hes a beast

  • it doesnt matter. Kyle just showing you guys what we are suppose to do with work outs. Why would waste time with doing right?

  • Kyle Harrison is a beast on the lacrosse field but a terrible personal trainer

  • i hate squats..makes u slower

  • squats make your legs stronger= makes you faster

BushWho your a dumbass and don't know what your talking about

  • actually im not..maybe u should listen to the video dipshit

  • i did dipshit and your still a dumbass

  • Wanna dance ?

  • Tango is my preference lol

  • the bars supposed to touch your chest when you bench but hes still a beast

  • l use this and it really inprv my game thax man

  • Lol awesome tips!!! thanks

  • he says 245 punds isnt alot lol

  • its not

  • how u gunna say anything bout kyle harrison. Hes one of the best players out there

  • yeah you probably dont play football..

do a sesh of 2 minutes on forearms...then 2 minutes on elbows hurts a hell of a lot more on elbows

  • poor form on the "elbows & toes" or planks ..

ELBOWS and toes not forearms..hurts alot more when your on your elbows

  • and no, you're suppose to be on your forearms

  • his low weight for squats and benching (135) is more than i weigh he's sick though. i am deffinately gonna try some of these workouts

  • ... he said he warms up at 135 and makes it up to 245 on last set... stop talking idiots

  • he is probably one of the best players to ever play the game.

  • i play mid and whenever someone takes a shot, i run and have my stick out as if to catch their shot, its worked a few times

  • nice vid man, this is gonna be my first season playing lacrosse,so i want to be in good shape before the season starts and this video gave me excellent tips for workouts becuase i just started working out at home with my equipment, thanks!

  • Look how much bigger his right arm is than his left. . .

  • what ever hand your more dominant in lacrosse your going to have a larger arm that side I play defense lefty but I write with my right hand... hence my left arm is bigger

  • i usually do upper body sunday, tuesday and thursday, then lower body monday and wednesday, and i dont do lifting on friday and saturday, just cardio

  • wat does he do on friday saturday and sunday. Does he work out on those days cause thats when i work out the most.

  • lax games friday-sunday most likly

  • he uses them as rest days and he doesnt have games because its during the OFF-season, but dont follow this workout its really minimal in getting strong, there are hundreds of ore workouts that you should incorporate into getting really strong, and you shouldnt be lifting on the weekends, those are more of a rest period because if you work out a muscle that is sore you are prohibiting muscle growth and i dont think you wanna do that

  • yea he uses a pad to squat and its a really light weight i never use one

  • everyone check out my channal and read it then if you know anything please comment

  • heh febuary 5th is my birthday

  • your not low enough on your elbows and toes touch your shit to the ground

  • he uses a pad to squat

  • he has the right.... he is that good

but still not the best, but REALLY good

  • yeah but still there is no reason to waste time talking about how good he rather than teaching, no doubt hes really good, but doesnt mean hes gotta be such a cocky dick about it. He was whipping 95 mile per hour shots, on a high school goalie to embarrass him... is that necessary... i mean come on
