i'm 25 now and never been in a relationship but it's only been about 2 yrs since i've felt like i want/need/am ready for one. The future is not looking positive either coz of the issues that I have so I've all but reconcilled myself to remaining single. It's killing me at the moment, I guess mostly because I feel so powerless to do anything about it. Thankfully I don't always feel like this, I'll be back to normal in a few days/weeks. Dunno what my point is... jus wanted to say that... *Hugs*

I've spent my life teaching and encouraging others to see the value and worth in themselves, but I haven't been able to teach myself the same thing. I've also reconciled to being alone until I can work things out. but right now I feel like you. not to sure about that future. Maybe one day.

I think that the longer you stay single, the more you have time to work on being eligible for the one you're supposed to be with! I call it "self inventory". That is so true about the whole "self-inventory" thing. I have been single for four years (Wow! I've really grown 'cause now I can actually say that without feeling strange, lol), and I've found that the "downtime" helps me to get back to the business of bettering myself because often times we want Mr.Right, but are we working on ourselves so that we'll be "right" for this elusive Mr.Right? Come on, now! Can get an Amen?! LOL
Exactly. I can't see it. I want to be like that when i'm 30. 4real. Dont worry about finding somebody. They'll come. You need somebody on your level though so dont settle.
