Tthe camera man thinks it is funny that the old man is shooting at geese. He would have called the police or told the old man to stop if he did not like what the old man was doing. That wasn't enough he chaseed after the geese talking to them and the mother geese felt he the camera man was threating toward her ducklings and was showing she did not like this. Obviously you've never been in a place like a college campus overrun with non-migratory geese who mate and nest there. Geese nest on the roof, and thus have mates patrolling the area [attacking anybody who tries to get into said building], and in the worst cases nest right in front of/next to the building entrances, pretty much forcing you to walk close to their nest [and getting honked at at best, attacked at worst].

I'm surprised you were able to get that close to the geese and not get pecked! :D And to heck with the old man. Some of the greenest lawns I've seen in my town (which hosts thousands of Canada geese every year) have had geese around them. IT'S FREE FERTILIZER! The only time it's a hassle is when it's on the sidewalk, but just get a hose and wash it off with the dirt and seeds like everyone else!

I actually had an incident with geese yesterday too, though it wasn't someone shooting them. In the parking lot while going to lunch there was some guy feeding geese so they were walking all over the road causing a traffic jam.
