Has anyone noticed that Angie Harmon has a case of walleye, or Strabismus, in her left eye? When the camera looks at her straight in the face her left appears to be off center from her right. I have noticed about her during her tenure on Baywatch Nights and Law and Order. However, I noticed that it is gone later in her career. Perhaps she had surgery done to correct it?
@XFiles1993 I agree. It took me a while to get use to Lupo and Bernard after Green left. But i eventually did. I missed episodes from season 19 due to work, but 20 defiantly had great episodes. I just wish NBC weren't eager to pull the plugs on all the L&O franshice except SVU, but luckily, SVU got better this season. I like all the changes. Now if we can only Goren and Eames to work on a case with Benson....
When she said, "I would be next door if there were any problems with any of my cases," is she refering to issues with past cases she and Jack worked on or ones that she would have when she joined the US attorney's office?
Strangely, Abbie is the only ADA, and few L and O characters in genral, that left the show on good terms. Most of the others were killed off or screwed over in some manner.
@kytim89 Let's see: Greevey killed Ceretta shot Cragen transfered (twice) Logan punched a politician Curtis retired early Briscoe retired (to DA's office til passing) Fontana N/A Cassidy N/A Green Suspended then resigned Robinette Private Firm Stone Resigned Kincaid killed Ross Private frim (then Judge) Schiff stepped down Lewin stepped down Southerlyn fired (not b/c she's a lesbian) Borgia killed Branch stepped down I guess you're right. Does Van Buren count? Markerson was going to leave.
Looking back on the L and O series, I have come to the conclusion that once Angie Harmon and Jerry Orbach departed the series then the ratings and quality went down. Those two were the lynch pins of the series and many fans, including myself, saw a signifacant drop in quality after these two actors departed from the series.
@kytim89 Haha fair enough. I know what you mean. But I tend to get super obsessed for like a month or two and then stay a fan, but move on to being obsessed with something else!
The ending of this episode made Abbie's tenure come full circle because when she first started her and Jack did not get along. But this secene shows that they became frineds during her three years at the DA's office.
The first six episodes of season twelve were in fact the strike episodes and that the dialouge from the script that Rohm acted from was meant for Angie Harmon. Watch closely and you will see a similarity between the two for season twelve.
Season 11 of this series was ending on the eve of a writers strike and NBC ordered Wolf Productions to make six extra episodes of L and O in case season twelve was delayed due to the strike. However, Angie Harmon was departing the show to get married and she announced her departure from the show. This put the production company in a binf because Dick Wolf had to find a suitable replacement for her. He found Elizabeth Rohm at the last minute.
@kytim89 Had he not found her, Harmon, by will of contract, would have had to film the six extra episodes and postpone her marriage. The season closed in may of 2001 and she got married a few months later. The rest is history.
i miss Abbie! i don't watch law and order re-runs unless she's in them!

Abbie (Angie) wanted to get killed off in a spectacular manner and Dick Wolf wouldn't let it happen.

This is how Angie described her character, Abbie:
"I play this young, aggressive attorney who is very headstrong and has absolutely no respect for authority."

@jaivomi When I really like a show, I get into it. You should see me with Terminator, Aliens and Robocop. Now that fan boyism at its finest.

@kytim89 Oh and FYI - Aliens is one of the greatest movies ever made. I LOVE it!
