  • the first half of the movie was good, the second half was absolute shit... dragged out for no reason and utterly boring. anyone watching the full movie, once you've seen an hour - turn it off, you've seen it all.

  • @DistinctiveDirector you can't even spell, so who cares what you think.

  • @Soundgarden8497 I'am just saying its not boring and there's no need to be mean,

there should be no judgement to anyone or anything and no meanness also

  • @DistinctiveDirector i was just informing the public on how to get the most out of the video without wasting their time.

  • @Soundgarden8497 Well thats fine, but i didn't feel like it was a wast of time

  • @DistinctiveDirector but it was

  • There are many waste types defined by modern systems of waste management, notably including:

+ Municipal Waste includes household waste, commercial waste, demolition waste

+ Hazardous Waste includes Industrial waste

+ Bio-medical Waste includes clinical waste

+ Special Hazardous waste includes radioactive waste, Explosives waste, E-waste

  • Waste is sometimes a subjective concept, because items that some people discard may have value to others. It is widely recognized that waste materials are a valuable resource, whilst there is debate as to how this value is best realized. Such concepts are colloquially expressed in western culture by idioms like "One man's trash is another man's treasure."

  • Waste is directly linked to human development, both technologically and socially. The compositions of different wastes have varied over time and location, with industrial development and innovation being directly linked to waste materials. Examples of this include plastics and nuclear technology. Some components of waste have economical value and can be recycled once correctly recovered.

  • In biology, waste is any of the many unwanted substances or toxins that are expelled from living organisms; such as urea, sweat or feces.

  • Waste (also known as rubbish, trash, refuse, garbage, junk) is unwanted or useless materials. Litter is waste which has been disposed of improperly.

  • inspirational

  • He needs his own comic book, titled Garbage Man obviously!

  • . we live in corporate controlled herd system. Just see robots every day, instead of human beings):

  • I'm an architect, right now I am studying a pretty much worthless master degree to see if I can improve my chances finding a job, but I agree with him, I've also noticed that architecture is worthless and these days it is more about ego than anything else... but I don't agree that we will "destroy the planet", we just don't have the capacity to pull that one off. The root of environmentalism is to have a good environment for our survival. The planet can take care of herself.

  • @FractalBolt maybe not destroy the planet but we could destroy ourselves...

  • @seigneurvoland666 Yes, agree, that is the real danger.

  • you are just being herded like cattle.

  • i wonder whether the bike he rode in the beginning is electric or fuel

  • That's just garbage!! (I mean that in a good way ^_^)

  • Im with him! America has too much stupid rules!!

  • @iJOJ0 just a bunch of insecure people running everything. Profit base system doesn't work. Why We fight is excellant documentary also.

  • @iJOJ0 you are not allowed to question corporate authority which is bs.

  • Great documentary! and Michael is a real eco-warrior !!!

  • TRULY INSPIRATIONAL

  • when i saw this movie.. i was ready to pack my bag(still wating for the call)

    ;)

great movie and my hero! (alive)

  • Hahaha great film- love to see it.... Google THEORIONPROJECT

  • Over the past several years I have really started paying attention to how we as a human race have been treating our environment, And most recently with the Oil Spill in the Gulf of Mexico I truly became more aware of one chilling fact, Should we not alter how we treat the earth, Our HOME, and if we do not as a nation, as a species, voice that hey, I want to be here 50 years from now and say, we made a difference for the future that is clean and effective.. Then we have truly condemned ourselves.

  • @YetiManzor garbage warrior makes you wake up. I Look at everything differently. Like how we waste food because of the corrupt system we live in.

  • really good documentry!

  • If you feel very strongly about this Join the facebook group "Roads Less Traveled Documentary Series" to see more...to connect...to come together, to be part of the change!

  • This guy and his team are all legends. Huge kudos!!!

  • He's a real hero. We need more, WAY more like him.

  • @MrsPredNZ Apathy is what prevents it... what's stopping you?

  • haha can one hire him to build a house like that. I'd love to have a place like that on a bit of land and live sustainably, grow your own vegies, have a cow, some chhoks..get away from the damned greedy grid. Tired of them always putting up rates etc.

  • The celtic warrior is on board with this. i mean when you think about a house that can survive without going to the store...your off the grid..out of the hands of bankers n such all you gotta worry about is the environment around you....which is how it should be.

  • I'm on board! I'm moving to Taos as soon as I possibly can. I want to move into an Earthship and totally live off the grid. Can you imagine 2012 when you're already in the desert and have your "compound" set up? I say "Bring it On!"

  • A great Idea but some of those things he uses for the houses can leach tocix chemicals, like ruuber tyre's plastic, etc?

We also need to use safe material as well.

  • @MrsPredNZ The tires are completely sealed in concrete away from the elements of erosion. There's no "leaching" whatsoever. The bottles are made of glass, not plastic. The cans are made of aluminum and pose about the same danger as an average homeowner's aluminum step ladder.

Google "earthship" for more information. Read and learn.

  • well good that they think of everything!

  • "Jon is dead, so who the fuck are you?"

    "HORSESHT"

  • A real inspiration .... thanks!

  • @dman15151 this man should have won nobel peace prize not Obama.

  • Fantastic Michael go man go....

  • There must be a way..... can't we all do this to some extent? surely? Come on creative, intelligent people, lets find a way, one small change at a time, everything is a matter of time - let US, not THEM, choose how long it takes and what consequences we are prepared to face, if any. Work it from the bottom - up. Thank you Garbage Warrior team, you got me thinkin!! NZ warrior :)

  • Absolutely wonderful person with amazing dedication to this cause for the earth. Impressive and touching! Just great film!!!

  • These are the people that will save our collective asses when we're Ipodding our way into oblivion.

  • This guy is the new Ben Franklin. He is a true patriot.

  • I can't stop thinking about the movie! Amazing story of a man who not only believes that the US is not thinking about where we are going, but has new ideas of how to improve our world, and is prepared to fight for them through the system, as well as giving the technology to other countries.
