i never knew the lumens added up? cuz like even if u put a light 1 lumen near a 100 lumen, it would barely add up maybe 0.1 lumen will go up not 1 as total or any at all?

How exactly did you keep the plant so small ?

@Tdrizzlextv Easy. Switch to flowering phase 12/12 when plant is short but looking healthy and has at least 3 or 4 nodes. Have heard that some people have induced flowering phase from seedling, that would keep it very short, but that's some shit i've never tried but can't see it not working, guess it would give a very low yield though.

I'm all for stealth grows, but computer cases and 8W cfl's are just way too gnarly.

@examinationboard what is gnarly about it? it is more than sufficient light in such an enclosed space with highly reflective mylar, and its actually one 25W CFL and two 8 CFL, im happy with yield considering this is just a hobby also, cant risk having a grow tent even though that would be my ideal setup

@budtrip a scrog wud ensure equal lighting on the surface area throughout, thus making sure every bud is huge. fish weights are optional

@newjerseymc dude, the method I use is just as effective as SCROG and a lot easier to LST, it does exactly the same thing and you can control the horizontal growth a lot more effectively, thus allowing a lot more light into the rest of the plant, getting many more grow tips with buds, hence more yield, capiche?

what's the height of your pc dude? Do you think a 20' pc is to small?

@dnYydnYy Mine is around 20' tall, since I use a trough and with plenty of string I can tie down branches and fan leaves when they start getting too close to the lights. Will make a massive difference if you can raise the lights as the plants grow, I used rare earth magnets glue gunned to power expander, loads of those magnets, you don't want the light to fall off whatever you do. That would be very scary.

@HaCle89 used timers yes. this plant really stank, so you need odour control, super automatic sativa by big budhha seeds is however very low odour

@HaCle89 not worth it, too much work, just buy a couple of ona blocks, one can sit outside the case, under the exhaust fan and then bob's your sister, no odour! just do a search for ona block, not cheap, but works excellently and all natural, i would buy two just to be safe as they only last like 3 to 4 weeks depending on how many holes you perforate on the lid

@blakasassin1 Should be enough light for veg dude, just make sure you have the reflective mylar, not the shitty white type. since the grow is in a relatively small space you want to switch to 12/12 flower cycle pretty early so you dont end up with a beast that will become too big for the case. Some growers start the 12/12 cycle when the plant is just a seedling to keep it real small, dependens on strain too, lowryder strains are good for keeping things short. What strain are you thinking of?

@blakasassin1 you have to do your research online dude, every strain is so different, the worst thing that can happen is you plant a seed without knowing it's sex and then it turns out to be a male plant, then effectively you have wasted all that time and energy on nothing, feminized seeds always the way

i saw towards the end of the video that the main stem of the plant was turned 180 degrees, how did you do that when the plant already had a hard stem?

@xcrownboyx think i know what you mean now, well if you look closely before and after it turns up 180 degrees you will notice that the top strings have been cut. Just goes to show how horizontal all that string was keeping the plant, and it is not a hard stem, it's rather flexible even at that late stage. Peace.

Very nice, far better than mine. Regarding the pot u used? did the roots go till the other end?

@hafey80 Yes they did! When I removed the soil after harvest I noticed the roots had taken up all of the pot space. I made sure to water incrementally to the bottom of the trough pot, that will make the roots go searching for the elixir of life. Not always an exact science, that's what makes this so exciting, some strands are so easy to grow, effortless, yet some are a fucking pain in the ass, like my current project, needs constant attention and is worse than a high maintenance lady.

@CCampbell1996 just 2700k, i also use an LED grow light during veg stage, not sure if it makes any difference to be honest, but plant seems to like it

@EnjoyMarijuana I think you are talking about the LED light I used during the vegetative phase, this was totally removable, so when the plant had flowered to a satisfactory level, I removed it and then only depended on the other lights. You do not need no expensive HPS lights inside a case, would be dangerous with so much heat and a total waste of money as it will be so bright in such an enclosed space due to the highly reflective silver mylar.

@PurePessimism I didn't weight the harvest, will do that next time, but it was a very respectable amount, I would just be speculating and estimating. You always end up with more with LST (Low Stress Training), which you need anyway in a PC grow, but bro, I was smoking like a true fuckin trooper every day and it lasted for a good 3 months. 3 months of pure pleasure and relaxation. I am on a new project now.

@PurePessimism The key is all in bending the plant horizontally as it grows (LST), that way you can still grow a big plant and get a very good yield, and the other very important factor (tower PC case, no small cases).
