I don't want HBK to retire but he has to cause his body is a mess, he wants to see his kids grow up, and someone young should end the streak, not a veteran/legend who doesn't need the victory. Actually the song was written by Kate Bush. While it may of been featured in the movie "Daybreakers" it wasn't written specifically for it. But using this version in the video package for Taker vs. Michaels is genius.

I think the word to decribe Kate Bush's version is there is a "passion" and urgency in her singing pushing to a climax..

I think Placebo is tailoring the music to fit with a Vampire movie, in that sense it does work..

This song was not done to fit a Vampire movie, it was done because it was such a great song, and they wanted to make a cover (also known as a Tribute). Sometimes, bands actually do covers perfectly well without butchering a song. Placebo and Within Temptation both did a brilliant cover for Kate Bush's "Running up that Hill."

That's my opinion, at least.
