@principles101 I'm not quite clear about your question, but will give a basic reply: the Constitution had one purpose: to restrain the power of the federal government. The founders added amendments to make even clearer that the government was not to encroach on individual liberty. Any prohibition of peaceable choice -- liquor or drugs or raw milk -- is a violation of individual liberty. For native Ams, their land was stolen outright; Blacks are targeted using victimless crime legislation.

Some guy on another forum (seamoremonster) is arguing with me about the 14th and 18th amendments to the Constitution as it relates to todays issue. Anyone have an argument regarding his objections as to Ron Paul's constitutional stance regarding current events?  He's trying to claim that Paulbots are "demonic" and that we have no clue in regard to Ron Paul's adherence to the constitution. Continued...

The Fed has one solution to every problem - lower interest rates and stimulate the economy. That's the solution that Wall Street always wants, and when Goldman Sachs runs The Fed and the US Treasury, they get what they want.

The problem is, they can't keep stimulating the economy, any more than a person could remain healthy on a steady diet of stimulants. There's always a crash and the longer the stimulants are ingested, the worse the crash.
