@chris2011378 I know how ;) You have to go on the clean channel, (of course) and then turn down on the tape echo, if you wont to keep that echo all the time, when you turn over to the clean channel, then hold the clean channel down, until all the channel blinks, and then its done :) i will maybe upload a video about it
Good review but should of saved a bit more for a 30 watt it's got more effects and channels and a much cleaner louder sound. I just got the 30 watt, it is amazing.
@Tijntjuuh I think this amp is better than marshall amp. I have got marshall mg 10. But i tried this amp and i like this amp 's tone. Especially distortion is so good.
lol i love how you didn't explain the channel saving features or the noise gate...which severely reduces tone...or how to change distortion normally or add the boos with the holding of a button plus the twist of the distortion... or even how to save presets
Is this just me or are the volume levels on each preset insanely different? like ill switch from clean to metal and the volume will just be ridiculously loud?
@joezetank Yea it is, but if it isn't just my amp, you can turn the drive volume up or down a little than back to where it was and i will be quieter. I think it like makes it full blast when you switch channels or turn it on.
@ironhagoo Yes. Very. Crunch is great for AC/DC, you can even do it on metal if you have your guitar volume down and amp volume up. Great amp. Highly recomend it.
kids kinda silly lookin, no offense but i clicked the video thinkin ohh boy here we go... then he started demonstrating channels and made me feel like a fool cuz the kid can play!
@Zevangelion23 You'd know, hailing from the noted metal hotbed of Columbia. The kid is demoing the amp, and he does a fine job of it, he's not trying to put on a James Hetfield clinic. YOU suck and by the way, where are your videos, Kerry King?
@Notjustforfreaks man,why do you say i suck? i don't upload videos because i don't have a camera. James Hetfield is not the only person that use palm mute....if you're gonna review or demo a amp and the distortion it's of metal, you need to use techniques of metal, the most commonly techinque of metal and the main difference between punk and metal it's the palm mute. This is demo is gay. Can be much better. He's not a kid,he's a guitar player, and only cuz is a kid you don't need to argue with that.
@Zevangelion23 He isn't demonstrating his skills in playing, he's demonstrating an amp. Stop crying over bullshit. You're posting in English and not using the correct grammar, you're an idiot. And don't come with the "not-my-native-language"-crap, it isn't my native language either.
@Tommy, nice review. Plain and simple, no bullshit. Goob job.
@bamschulze Like that video of you and the other German creep fondling each other on the couch while playing a cheesy hippie sing along on an acoustic is so awe-inspiring. Nothing wrong with that, but don't write checks with your mouth that can't be cashed.
Thank you for starting off by playing a Metallica song that doesnt suck, instant respect. And thanks for teaching me how to use the built in tuner. I still like the tuners on Raven amp's alot better, but thats just me.
Wow what a great video!! This amp looked really confuzing at first but now that you showed me how to use it I am no longer confuzed. I am going to buy this amp now! Thanks a lot! Rock On!
@slyfox97 I have the Spider III 15, and it's NOT good for band practice. I've played it with the channel and master volume all the way up, and (while sounding like crap), it could not overpower the sound of the drums. A 30 watt would do you good, but it'd still sound a little weird because you'd have to have the volume knobs up loud. I recommend the 75 watt, or get the half-stack.
@slyfox97 This amp is great for band practise. I'm in a band, and my drummer whales on his drums, really after practice you can't hear proper. This amp is PLENTY loud, great sound even at high levels, half volume on your guitar and amp will be loud enough. Also, each channel is a little different in loudness.
@TotallyHowTo Distortion is not about treble mids or bass, its all about gain and drive, you could have treble boosted on a clean channel and it wouldnt sound distorted one bit
Thank you for the very great review [definitely makes me Want to buy the amp over the Roland 20x cube] and for not smacking your lips so loudly every to seconds like every other YouTube kid.
I thought this was going to be some CHEESY, Kid review but i thought wrong.
I've used a Line 6 IV 15 before.
My only Issue is when you change something like the Drive, Treble or Bass for examples the Amp turns off, it's till ON but the sound cuts off forcing you to turn it off and on repeatedly, which is annoying if you trying to get the Acoustic-ish or a very Meaty Bass sound from your amp. apart from that it's wonderful amp by Line 6. recommend it for anyone but mainly if you don't have money.
i am trying to upgrade from my fender sp.10 starter amp into somthing that can get me a grunge- heavy metal sound on a buget of $110, would anyone suggest this amp or a diffrent one and give me a site that i could look up some reviews, cause u can't always trust youtube comments lol XD
@Pamahana97 Actually this amp is your best bet by far. As far as reviews my suggestion to you would be to google it. There should be many reliable sources to choose from.
lol i have that exact same amp and when i put it on clean i was pissed that it had echo, i thought it would go away over time but if u put it on reverb all the way turned up, it stops echoing :D
don't buy this amp, i have had it for 2 years and it only seems to be good for metal and nothing inbetween. if youre into metal then this is good amp for you , but otherwise i'd get a vox valavetronix. nice review though
ok for one. i have played around with the line 6 spinder Iv amp myself and you CAN take of the echo effects on the clean tone. It doesnt force you to have them when you turn it on you need to turn the phaser knob all the way forward then back quickly to completely take off the echos
@assortedfish where ever music items are sold, u know guitars amp's exetera....... u can get the "line six FBV2" pedal which has two buttons.. only for switching back and forth between settings.

There are also a lot of other effects you would see in hard rock, chorus, reverb, flanger, phaser etc.
