This IS indeed an awesome place. I've been to this place many times in the 1990s, when I lived in California. I live in New Jersey now and the New Jersey Shore is a popular destination for many students in my high school. But Pismo, Shell, and Avila beaches are better and cleaner.

ive been going to pismo since i was 4 months old im 18 and i will never stop going to pismo until i die i love that place more than any beach on this planet,

the last time i was there there were no permit signs up like there was a while back not sure if they stopped them or not but if your over 18 then no matter what your ok you dont need one, sales tax is 8.25% in bakersfield

I did the same thing (going to Pismo Beach frequently) until I was in first grade in 1999, when I moved to New Jersey. I haven't been to Pismo Beach for over ten years, and I would like to come back someday. Pismo is indeed a nice beach, and it's clean.

If you would save all those bucks you spend in that "..beach..", you should have enough to go to Bahamas, Cabo San Lucas, Costa Rica, Barranquilla, Dominican Republic, and come back with money still in your pockets.
