Pretty cool. We have a JRT and he does a good amount of tricks. He loves the ball. He will jump off my boat for it or into the water from any where to get it. How did you teach it to dive? Smart dogs!

@cheryl9245 You don't know anything about Jack Russells. They are extremely tough and determined. They LOVE work and exercise. I own them and have had loads of experience. Besides, I'm sure her owner would jump in in a heartbeat if the dog started to struggle.

The diving is ok but maybe something easy to carry otherwise the jacks at risk,speaking from experiance they are stubborn and sometimes dont know when to give up,although i still think they are the smartest dog on the planet.

You know the Jack Russell is one of the smartest dogs out there. We have a Dachshund, but I think we'll get a jack Russell the next dog we get. My nephews both have them and I love their dogs, they are so smart, I mean mine is pretty smart, but he dosen't compare to my nephews dogs.

My dog used to do that too, though now we don't allow it any more because she used to get out huge stones, to big for her.

Just saying, we had to pull out 16 teeth because of this! The rocks crac the teeth and bacteria comes in and then makes the teeth rot, so be careful!

Very cute! I had one who did the same, she'd go down and wouldn't want to come up until she had a rock and it didn't matter how big it was! She just loved diving. I'd have to keep her back at the beach or she'd just wear herself out in the water!

To the person saying this is mean, one, you don't know dogs very well, let alone this breed! They love this sort of thing, no one can "make" them do it or force them too.
