i am an avid watcher of these nigerian movies and one thing stands out to and I just gotta ask. Do the doctors there really not treat dying patients until a deposit is paid??? coz if they do, alot of people must die unnecessarily.

Not in all cases, but at times after treating a patient they tend to play smart by running out of the hospital without paying. That's why most hospital prefers you drop some amount of money, before they commence treatment.
