As an ex-Gaucho and 5 year IV resident this brought a tear to my eye. I could only imagine the endless sea of kegs flowing down Del Playa that afternoon! UCLA was foiled from getting their 100th national championship by us....getting our 2nd!

As Jim Rome pointed out on his show this morning, the hilarious thing about this is that the game took place in St. Louis. So where did those fans get the goal post? Who knows, the fans apparently grabbed the first set they saw and started carrying them off. Too funny.

Two years ago, after our elite 8 win, we stormed the field and carried the goal out of the stadium. The cops stopped us halfway. This time there was no event staff or police presence from us helping the goal complete its' destiny!
