open but dont start up your disc of gears of war (i think) then find a programme called unreal editor.this same thing works for other games you just have to find it in the disc

When you install the game it should install the editor

@soids3939 usually the unreal ed.ece is right next to the gears of war.exe in your installed game folders, try there perhaps..

Unreal Ed is just awsome ! Its really easy and you can built everything ! Haven't used unrealEd 3 tough, but 2 is really good guess 3 is even much better :P

to get the editor for the people who rush it and did not pay attention u must uninstall it reinstall it. On the Set up click more options and click editor which is in the small box

did you choose the option to install the editor too? if you did it's in your gears of war binaries folder. it's called "startup". turn it into a shortcut and add these parameters to it:

editor -cookededitor -installed. add a space between them and no the editor parameter does not have a -

What is a parameter? I went to the binaaries folder, and I put "startup" into the desktop as a shortcut. What is a parameter though? When I clicked on the "Startup" it didn't open D':

I like forge. It's simple and easy to use. You don't get to make the environments, but you can make fun things like I made my own bouncy castle for instance. [dont ask aaha]
