I really feel that what Freddie said is probably the best advice not only in music but in life. That is enjoy this moment, this song, the person you're with, live your life to the fullest and keep going forward, listening to new music, and making new memories in your life. Freddie lived by those rules and died with very few regrets. I really think he had it right!

it took them 10 hours to fu**ing have that part on the movie(and i don´t like it..sorry) but for Queen it only took 4 or 5 hours to complete this masterpiece
ok idk if you all get mad but that rolling stone magazine guy just proved to me they are a bunch of idiots on that magazine....and also why some americans do not know Queen´s music ENTIRELY
I know how your daddy feels. I left school in 1984 and got into Queen just after what turned out to be their last tour of Australia, and I think I will regret never having seen them together. :(
Thanks for all this. Was great to wander through a bit of nostalgia, ingrained in everyones mind. Totally unique. I was the only girl of 13 yrs old in my class at school in '75 who agreed with the boys, that Queen was just terriffic. now as a 40+ yr old, they are still my Fav's, my 23 & 21 yr old kids were weaned on Queen, they were educating their mates when they were 7&10, great to pass on to the next generation. My son cranks Queen up in his car, good taste never dies.
fuck america,a gay man wrote this song, thats why it didnt go no 1,land of bigotry, racism and homophobia,a land where kids would rather kill themselves, than admit they were gay..
An astonishing accomplishment.I think the meaning of the song does indeed reside in the unconscious mind. As an abstract- reality, fatalism, futility, personal demons, loss, fantasy and responsibility and redemption are themed.Oddly, the words ring true when you sing them, and can be surprisingly moving, they are honest, even though they make little 'sense' in the linear narrative. The pathos in the closing piano/guitar phrase is reminiscent of Beethoven's Pathetiqué.2nd movement Adagio Cantabile
First of all thank-you for taking your time to post these videos in several parts. I enjoyed it. Brian May is right. 'Bohemian Rhapsody' will never date and Queen's music in general will never date either.
i luv Brian's solo, to me it's the greatest solo in the history of solo's, cum to my channel and watch my vid i made of my top 5 brian may solo's (try and guess what's #1, not too difficult really) :]
bohemianism is a cultural movement that had an important part in the 70s, and a rhapsody is a musical structure that is riged by several individual parts united as a music collage
Grazie Freddie sei stato un grande, uno come te ci sarebbe voluto nel parlamento italiano e non quella schifezza di Vladimiro"Luxuria",un culattone da sbarco!!!
Listening to Roger say that he did know what the song was about with a smile and that it should be quite obvious... well, I think that said explained it well enough. The series was lovely. Great to see Brian and Roger together in the studio and touring the little apartments, etc. Thank you for posting this. It was wonderful. Love you Freddie!
So acording to that git, because wayne and garth head banged to it, it made it masculine and alright for america? what a idiot, i hope it isnt true, its so shallow and stupid, if it is.
Jesus, they really milked the shit out of the guitar solo in this show didn't they?

this was freddie's way of saying to the world that he wanted to break free from what he is hiding w/c is his sexuality.

Freddie didn't write that song.
But yeah, the dress up thing was a form of expression. People in america were mostly homophobic at that time so they didn't like it.

What really sends shivers down your spine is how they (Queen) perform it together! What a devotion!

I still have one question...why is it called a 'Bohemian' rhapsody, exactly?
Well, I guess the same reason Galileo, Figaro and magnifico and such are in the opera portion. :)
RIP Freddie.
