  • a wild rayquaza appeared! GO! BLAZIKEN! what would blaziken do? *throws ultra ball* BOOYAH! RAYQUAZA was caught.

  • COOOOOL :D

  • Why is everyone spelling Groudon wrong...?

  • Ok, we need a remake of R/S/E for the DS!

  • all hail cat33pokemon!

  • 0:57 sounds like it's laughing....

  • Archie made 5 accounts and disliked this

  • I would say that I could do better..But that would be the biggest lie of all time.

  • I cant wait for the Hoenn remakes :D

  • Thank you Mario, but our Groundon is in another cave

  • @AdvanceAudio Haha, that's a good one.

  • @cat333pokemon Thank you Brendan, but Groudon is in another cave!

  • @AdvanceAudio exactly what went through my mind after groudon left the seafloor cavern

  • sounds glitchy but cool

  • cool!

  • Pretty amazing work on this one, just wish the program could have handled the clipping at 0:43 and such repeated parts better, but otherwise, amazing stuffs =]

  • @Lkynmbr24 The clipping effect (rapid note-on and note-off events) was intentional. Look at the keyboard when those parts come up.

  • @cat333pokemon Oic, ty for clearing that up, I can see it now (Altho with youtube's framerate, it's kinda hard to tell) And also, nice 2 min response xD Spot on =]

  • @Lkynmbr24 *giggles* Thanks!

  • Lol, i was going to catch Groudon, but before i did, i never EVER heard of the master ball, so when i did have it, I decided to test it on Groudon, guess what happened? lol

  • Dang, the percussion in this song sound AMAZING! The whole song does! Kudos to you for your 8-bit re-mixes and I hope to hear more in the future :D

  • Back in the day, we didn't have gongs in our legend music, we had what sounded like a dog barking

  • that was cooooooooooool

  • That's what R/S and Emerald would've sounded like if the GBA would've never existed. That's cool. Is that program in the emulator?

  • @ChampionRevilo Yes, it is part of VirtuaNES.

  • You has earned a subscriber! :D This remix ish EPICCCCC!!!!!!!

  • this+real 8-bit game=BROKEN GAME!!!

  • AWSOME!!!

  • It's a good Pokémon remix...Nice quality too!

  • I played that game and found Latios and also haerd that same music. But why is it a litle fuzzy?

  • Cat, stop making those awesome things or ill die of uhm... hm... ow what exactly will i die? xD

this part from 1:13 (yes i know there was the same part before, i just am at 1:13 xD) sounds like in the game i guess (thinking of what i still remember from the game^^ Havent fought one of these 3 for years)

Great job man^^ keep going on making 8-bit remixes^^ Never seen someone more skilled on either mario paint nor 8-bit as you^^

  • This is the most intense 8-bit song I've ever heard.

  • cool.

    P.S. Lol Turtwig is aghast!

  • Now we can properly battle with the continental legends....IN SPACE!!!

  • 0:14 sounded like a Staryu cry.

  • sounds like a theme glitched up on the game boy, no offense intended

  • That was pretty good. :)

  • Does the .nsf file work in every NES emulator?

  • Pretty much, yes.

  • uber

  • This beat makes me feel preppy for some reason!!!

  • 12/12

    5/5

  • This reminds me of a Michael Jackson song for some reason...

  • Comment removed

  • excuse me but is there a way in which i could import this .nsf into famitracker and edit it? and its no good converting to midi because famitracker is funny with importing them

  • You can't import the NSF. If you want to convert to MIDI, try mid2nsf.

  • Comment removed

  • Why?

  • at 0:15 ziiapp! music starts woot ur the best remixer at

  • By chance, even tho this is off-topic, could you do a remix of double dragon II's soundtrack off the NSF and post it?

    Thanks!

    Also wicked remix.

  • How do you record the screen?

I saw a question like that on your MPC videos but I can't remember which one. You said you used some programme to record the screen. What was it again?

  • Windows Media Encoder (free) and more recently MIcrosoft Expression Encoder 2 (part of a paid suite)

  • Cam Studio (free, open source) to capture the screen, FamiTracker to remix the audio straight to pure 8-bit.

    Description says FamiTracker.

  • oh ok thanks. I was wondering more about the screen recorder though

  • Excellent Job! And you must have excellent paintence for famitracker. I rip 8-bit sounds on nes and use them in FL studio. And I agree I hate GXSCC especially the chessy drums sounds.

  • In all seriousness, this was fucking amazing.

    5 stars. Epic win.

  • YOU HAZ WON MAH MUDKIP.

    *hands mudkip*

  • this is fucking sick!!!

    amazing!

    i love this version!

  • thats amazing.

  • I'm not a big fan of neither pokémon or 8 bit, but this sounds cool anyways!

  • i like it

  • *claps* :]

  • Amazing! I feel honored just being subscribed to you.

  • It sounds like it came from Atari 800 or Commodore 64, something like thos computers from the 1980`s.

  • when i said it sounded more 16-bit i ment it in a good way.....

  • Nice job! I Agree with WaluiJay also - it'd be great to do Gold and Silver with the remakes coming up, and the rival battle is one of my favorites!

  • OH YES

    This is awesome!

  • OOH! You should do some more GSC songs to celebrate for HG/SS! Like, maybe.....RIVAL BATTLE?!!! :D

  • thats amazing! you did a really good job on it :)

  • You forgot Pokêmon PinBall :D

  • This song in Pokémon Pinball RS is slightly remixed and has quite a few different notes.

  • Oh. Haha, okay xD

  • I used thirty Ultra Balls on each of the trio. That's 90 Ultra Balls. I snapped and threw my Master Ball at Rayquaza.

You cannot contain the awesomeness of those PokeMon. Probably because of the awesome song, and the even awesome-r

    remix of it.

  • ORLY? i caught rayquaza with an ultra ball while it was in midair (using fly)

  • Comment removed

  • It's awesome and all, but I'm glad the GBA had more advanced audio capabilities than the NES.

  • cat333pokemon used WHATEVER PROGRAM

    cat333pokemon is making a remix!

    cat333pokemon used 8-Bit Remix: Pokémon Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald: Groudon/Kyogre/Rayquaza Battle!

    It pwned everyone!

cat333pokemon gains 5 stars instead of XP!!!

  • Loved the percussion especially. You really do make neat-sounding music with this program ^_^

  • cat333pokemon used 8-bit remix...

    "It's Super Effective!" :P

    5/5

  • Groundon defeated.Ranking gets 1735EXP.

    What??Ranking evolved into 5stars!!!

  • @friekinmaster102 Kyogre defeated.

    5Stars gets 8,648 EXP.

What? 5Stars evolved into Like!!! cB

  • @friekinmaster102 lol nice! that was funny.

  • Woo! :D

  • WIN and in the words of true awsomeness 'its super effective!'

  • Critical hit!

  • Its sounds hiphopish......I LIKE IT!!!

  • lol if this came out in a first pokemon game, god..... to EPIC.

  • nummy

  • You do this things!??!!

  • Yeah, I make these 8-bit remixes every now and then.

  • Too bad that 8-bit consoles still couldn't play this. But it's awesome!

  • VirtuaNES is an NES emulator, which has pretty much the same capabilities as a regular NES.

  • You shoudve put the "You caught a pokemon!" fanfare at the end.

  • Best remix ever!

  • nice

  • great song 4/5

i had the volume and the static hurt my ears a little...

  • It's an 8-bit emulator, so it can't be 16-bit.

  • this music is sick

  • that sounds awesome

  • oh wow thats awesome.

  • Awesome!

  • Wrong, cat333pokemon was the first to view this...
