Oily forehead = apply some baby oil after washing your face, gently dab away any excess oil after a few minutes. You'll be amazed how much less oil it will produce and i had VERY oily skin! I use lavender oil soap and normal baby oil with camomilla, no need for special expensive stuff, and nothing extra to keep your skin perfecly clean!
Dry shampoo = use baby powder, just normal stuff, brush and blow out like you would with dry shampoo. Btw, i got jet black hair and get no stains from it. ;)
i love your videos :] i wish i didnt have to curl my bettie bangs everyday but i cant really pull it off without it since im blonde i'll just look like lady gaga :(
You just made my life a thousand times easier! I never thought of this before! I have very very thin, very greasy hair that needs to be washed every day... gets tedious. Red may run but gosh! Purple hair runs for miles. :O You are a very beautiful lady and ahve a great style! Keep it up! :D
Genius idea! Can't believe I've been washing my fringe all this time (and I dye my hair black) - I even knew about dry shampoo and it didn't even cross my mind, so I thank *you* for this video and I thank LisaFreemontStreet for the link to your channel!! I'm going to get some Batiste as I assume that will be similar - I don't think we've got Psssssst in the UK... Thanks again and I've subscribed to your channel too :D
@mylulu2 You are very welcome! They do black and brown coloured Batiste dry shampoos now in case anyone might find it useful know :) No red though...yet!
@pretty00kitty I do cut my own babgs, it takes some guts to do it the first couple times, but you get used to it for sure. Lisafreemontstreet has a good video on cutting bettie bangs:)
I noticed your roots are darker. I recently dyed my hair red and my natural color is medium brown. Does redroot touch up dye cover dark roots for you? or do you professionally get them done every few weeks?
Well since the all over color is a semi-permanent, when I get roots I touch them up with a permanent dye in a similar color. I do it myself because haven't found a stylist in my area that I really like, and also I just enjoy messing with my color:) I hope that was helpful, please message me if you have any other questions, thanks-xo
yeah that helps thanks. i was just wondering if a permanent red dye takes to naturally dark roots ok? cause i really dont want to go back to a salon every few weeks to dish out alot of money to get my roots done
Wow, you do have dark hair, huh! Mine is a fairly light auburn-brown naturally, so it's pretty east to touch up. You might want to check out some videos on how some girls bleach just their roots and touch up the color. I'm pretty sure I've seem things like that on youtube. You may even want to talk to a stylist or someone at the beauty supply store, to see what they could suggest. Let me know what ya find:)
I love it, it made my damaged hair look so healthy and shiny. Plus it smells great....one down side, like Manic Panic, it stains really easily so you gotta be careful. Also it can fade, so I recommend and color safe shampoo and washing it in cold water:)
Oh man sorry:) um, I looked at you channel, it looks like you've got dark hair so yeah if you bleach it first you'll get a vivid color.
Maybe even brighter than mine. But you can also do it over your natural color and it will give lots of pretty streaks and an allover red tone. that would be nice too! hope that is helpful:)
Did you feel very nervous when you did your first vid? It didn't seem like you were too afraid, but you definitely seem like an old pro now! I talk too fast, haha. And have to remind myself to breath:)
I wasnt nervous but I was too quiet and I had made this ghastly decision to film in 'sepia' tone w/out alot of makeup on which made me look like a haint. So that video no longer exists. LOL You did a great job!
I am really enjoying your videos and found you through LisaFreemontStreet! I am thinking of dyeing my hair red and just love yours. Thanks for the info and demo on the dry shampoo - something to consider. BTW looks like we are from the same area...if you know of any cool events going on for retro dames, PLEASE let me know!!!
I was going to approve your response request, but something didn't go through right.... anyway, I think this is a very helpful video! I was actually just considering getting some dry shampoo, not I am convinced :))
Im so happy because I already have thay "pssst" dry shampoo glad it works on bangs im going to get bettie bangs soon.

How'd you get the awesome hair colour?
KimDonesia 2 years ago
It is a color called 'Flame' from
Jerome Russell's Punky Color.
It's a semi permanent dye like Manic Panic.
I love it, it made my damaged hair look so healthy and shiny. Plus it smells great....one down side, like Manic Panic, it stains really easily so you gotta be careful. Also it can fade, so I recommend and color safe shampoo and washing it in cold water:)
