To tell you the truth, I'm kinda afraid of showing my face at Voice Acting Alliance again (so to speak). For one thing, I have a lot of unfinished projects over there (1 was cancelled because of a horrid script, others were cancelled because no one auditioned. This one was lucky enough to survive), and I have a small habit of altering the rules for auditioning (which I'm trying to break).

Caspian237, You're not confused. This was the opening theme to these episodes on the VHS episodes. It's just that there were no Japanese lyrics on the soundtrack. It was instrumental only.

@madamewho In the Miyazaki (Hound version) It takes place in the Edwardian era >roughly 1900 to early 1920s<

There weren't any giant steam powered spiders in 1870s old west either(Wild,wild West)

and this is a planet of bipedal talking dog people....

I rented this on vhs a few times when I was a nipper. It's funny but I from the official English version that is also on YouTube. Perhaps I am just getting confused and this tune was played during an episode. I'm sure I would have remembered if the singing was in Japanese though.

I remember another cartoonshow from my youth that was called "Sherlok Hund" in swedish. It was basicaly the same, but was set in Chicago in the 1920-30's I think.
