Hi, since I was about ten, i've wanted to be involved in the games industry, although I momentarly lost interest in making games for a few years, when I wanted to try building computers and think about starting a business.
Now i'm back to working on games, I program in C++ so I think i'm on the right track, and I also study computing at college, I guess my interest are all very technical, I enjoy assembling things, either with a computer or without, I also enjoy editing video, so yeah :-)
Lol thats great. A cowboy daddy.. lmao. I still don't know what I want to be. Probably something to do with art type things, such as, drawing, cooking/baking, writing, etc.
since i was a young i've always wanted to be one of three things : an architect, some sort of doctor, or some sort of banker, and i definitely agree that what you are interested in at the time influences your choice. For example at the beginning of 9th grade when i started learning about physics and started building things in his class, my wanting to be an architect push forward, and recently i started watching the discover health channel, which made me switch back to my doctor dreams. -terry
I know what you mean, and now with the advent of affordable editing software and the drop in price of video camera, that is definately within your grasp :-)
