  • it no sowing up on Physical Connections

  • Thankyou SO SO MUCH :)

  • @LetsPlay360andPC haha no probs ;p

  • Ive got a 'conflict' "The game or application you’ve selected conflicts with an application () you’ve already assigned to another device.

Please remove the other application or select the same device"

  • @Py2oo reset the homehub.

  • @TRaGiiKzZ Didnt do anything :/ Ive got a type B homehub, apparently they have a problem with them

  • @Py2oo If you have a conflict it means you already have an application assigned to the xbox which already has some of the specified ports open. Basically it's saying to you 'I can't open them twice'. What you need to do is make sure the Xbox360 only has 1 application setup assigned to it. Obviously you want to make that it's the one you just created. Hope that helps

  • @Py2oo Hmm ask for a new hub. Should get one for free.

  • @TRaGiiKzZ That's far too much effort. Thanks for the guide anyway mate.

  • @TRaGiiKzZ that what we did

  • just like to thank have just follow your instructions and it worked atreat

    thanks for the upload

  • @addoawa no probs ;D

  • does it work with the PS3?

  • @NSufz Nope you have different port codes, check the ps3 website for the ports.

  • i cant open ports 3074 upd or tcp

  • After clicking UPnP it says "Internet explorer cannot display this webpage", I tried another website to make sure my internet connection hadn't cut out and it worked, tried to go back to the page again it came up with the same message. Any help please??

  • your a fuking beast!!!!!!!!! thanks dude!!!!

  • Thank you so much for this man, your awesome!

  • Hi there, typed in everything correctly but when i applied to the physical connection it came up with this error message

'This application ports setting conflict with others, Please correct it and try again.'

    Can you help?

  • @minichaders Read through the comments next time, it usually answers your question, you have to reset your homehub.

  • Nice one mate, seems to have worked

  • @fire2200 Good to hear. :)

  • Can I just say thank you so much for making this.

  • @jaxk794 No problem! :)

  • Thank you this vid really helped a lot thanks :)

  • @cuxrie1 Glad it helped. :)

  • i have no physical connections on my hub something wrong there?

  • @ihackyouriphones Reset the homehub it should fix it or turn it of and on.

  • will it work if my pc is connected to my hub and my xbox is connected to my pc??????

  • dude i love you :D

  • Every time I press apply, i enter my password and then there's still nothing under User-defined games and applications. help!

  • @benjo265 Ahh, that means when you take too long, this happened to me twice, I don't know why this happens, what I suggest you do, is reset the hub, that way you can create a new password and try again, but be slightly quick, so you avoid this.

  • Mine has reset twice in the last week :S

Cant figure out why it keep's resetting :S:S

  • @Charmaflu Go to home network, find the part where you created the port codes, and then select always assign this IP address, it should wor, and wont reset itself. It's also on the video.

  • Hey man great guide, it worked perfectly for me for a few hours but then randomly went back to strict and I couldn't even connect to the homehub manager to check the settings... I've just re-done it and I'll try a factory reset on the xbox if it happens again (though i'd just done one before)

  • @TheMorrisification alright, any other problems message me.

  • I'm confused, I Reset it completely, Tried the reset button and also unplugging and re-plugging, any other suggestions? Thanks.

  • @ThatsJammyyy uhh, and what does it say, conflicting still? Someone said that a few homehubs are bugged apparently or something... Not sure though.

  • stupid home hub, pain in the ass!

  • @bourneagain22 Yeah I know lol.

  • When I try to add My Xbox Port Forwarder it says it's in conflict with an Application :S Need Help Please!

  • @ThatsJammyyy Yeah, reset the hub fully, and then re-do the tutorial :)

  • simple solution.just use wireless.i run my xbox through ethernet cable and have had problems with strick nat for months,i manage to get it on open for a day then it changes back.i just entered my wireless password into the xbox and i checked the nat and it said open.thumb up so others can try

  • It worked fine for me and i done it on a wireless connection cheers mate

  • @eXoVenomzZ No problem :)

  • Thank you so much we have had this problem many times before but this is the first time we have ever been able to get it sorted. You have made my son very happy

  • @wibbsy17 No problem :)

  • Does this work via laptop/ethernet connection. Or do you need the wireless adapter or do you have to do this via ethernet cable in back of router? I will subscribe to who replies. I'm begging you :)

  • @tonys97 Ethernet cable needs to be in the hub, and into the xbox 360 in order to do this.

  • @TRaGiiKzZ ok, If I do all this via hub connection ethernet, can I still go on xbox live with my laptop ethernet connection with open nat?

  • It works a treat! Thanks a bunch :) x

  • @MrSultanofswing no probs :)

  • does your xbox haveto be connected to your router through a cable for this to work? if not im nae a happy bunny like -_- lol

  • @stupidityletsplays02 Yes it does need to be in the home hub and into the xbox 360 for it to work.

  • @TRaGiiKzZ thanks for the advice mate and the video is helpful too but it turns out i just needed to test my connection in system settings and it goes to open every time :S but thanks for the advice, video and responding :D

  • @stupidityletsplays02 Yeah, I got a few people I know with strict NAT to try that, even people with the home hub, didn't work for them, you just have to be lucky.

  • The last part didnt work for me, had to change it so it wasnt assigned to just that IP, it was asigned to the console (if that makes sence) my xbox isnt on just one static IP, it switches so assigining it to just one of its many iPs is quite hard looooool thanks anyway, worked and now my MW2 NAT is open :)

  • dude iv done it for the ps3 should it still work??

  • @MrRitchie1010 Nope, PS3 use different port codes.

  • IT WORKS :) THANKS SO MUCH

  • @Imdabossou glad it worked :)

  • its doesnt show in my physical connections either

  • @tubzza

Same man, I cant find a pysical connection either. Did you find a solution?

  • @mashedup1987 reset the router, it happens sometimes.

  • I have used this guide before and it worked fine previously, but for some reason now my router is just showing up as moderate - Ive followed the steps. Any Clues??

  • I have used this guide before and it worked fine previously, but for some reason now my router is just showing up as moderate - Ive followed the steps. Any Clues??

  • @l33f00 Hmm, try reset the router and do it again but first do the end troubleshooting steps and if the problem carries on, re-do the tutorial by resetting it.

  • it doesnt show any physical connections so i cant click on my xbox??????

  • @Hinton711 Maybe because your xbox 360 is not switched on? If it still don't show up you will have to turn the hub off and on, if the problem consists you have to reset the hub.

  • I think you have your IP and MAC addresses mixed up lol

  • when i try and select the codes which i named XBOX it just isnt there when i click apply. i`ve entered the port codes several times correctly and it just doesnt show up when i save them. what am i doing wrong please help

  • and the silly thing is, got 2 xboxes connected to the same router and it only affected one of them.

  • done everything and still didn't work

  • @Cooperboy2008 probs done summin wrong, reset the router and try agen and look over the tut and make sure its done correctly.

  • Thanks so much you are a legend !!!

  • @chuger27 haha cheers! :)

  • Worked for me. Thanks

  • @markashton333 no probs :) glad it worked for ya

  • nice one it works!

  • @yakattack320 yh, glad it worked :D

  • @yakattack320 yh, glad it worked :D

  • can u do this even if ur xbox isnt connected with ur router with ether net cable (wireless adaptor)

  • @iProScott I don't know, try it.

  • i worship the land you walk on.

  • @ZaacProductions lol, glad it worked. :_)

  • Put the note to reset factory settings in description or at start.

It does work it's extremely annoying doing things twice.

  • @xJaymeee No.

The simple fact is, it works without the factory settings having to get reset sometimes and if it don't work you need to reset it, so no.

  • Didn't work then right at the end a box comes up saying to do the whole thing again but reset factory settings...

Well Done for putting it after people watch like 14 slow minute videos to at the end correct the first step basically!

  • @xJaymeee WHAT are you on about?! It don't say do the whole tutorial again oh my god.

All you do is reset factory defaults you still need to have done the tutorial... No need to do it twice, read next time.

  • You are a god!

  • @601176005 lol glad it worked :)

  • You are a god!

  • Worked for me, Thanks so much for putting this guide together, BT where no help at all! You legend.

  • @pininprestatyn No probs :P

  • didnt work, did everything step by step aswell.

  • @JDKempt0n Then try it again.

  • hmmmmmmmm, I did this step by step yesterday but had the error message pop up about an application already being assigned etc! so i will reset my hub later and try again, only problem i have is, at 2.38 into your video you say to click on a "physical" connection but my xbox shows up on the wireless connection and there is nothing on the "physical" connection section...... does this matter? HELP!!!

  • @timtobeymandy Your xbox needs to be turned on and it will show the physical address. But resetting will help you

  • nope didn't work, ok before i restore factory settings do i need to be connected to live?

  • @NevecLP Yeah I think so.

  • I'm gonna try this in a bit. Hope this works...

  • I don't have a home computer just my xbox and Ps3 but my wife recently got a laptop for her out of office work and since then I keep getting disconnected even when she's not on-line. Could it be that the laptops firewall etc is blocking my 360? It worked fine before she got it.

A RESPONSE WOULD BE GREAT AS ITS DRIVING ME NUTS!!!

Will try this tonight via her laptop

  • Nearly there! Anyone now how to change the IP stuff (the last step in red) on the ps3, don't think there is a restore default setting. thanks.

  • @tjnorman55 Nope PS3 I don't think have it, besides this don't work for PS3, there xbox 360 port codes, not PS3. But go ahead and try if it works, let me know.

  • Here Does It Work For Ps3?

  • @harrisboy42 Calm down.

You obviously did not read the description on part 1. ;l

YOU LEAVE IT BLANK IF YOU HAVE THE WHITE HOMEHUB!

  • I done this a few months ago, it worked but my hub must of reset itself or something, and now its back to strict but I'm gonna do it again and hopefully it works =) thanks saved me loads of stress

  • i did this but and error message came up when i tryed to add it saying........ The game or application you’ve selected conflicts with an application () you’ve already assigned to another device.

Please remove the other application or select the same device

  • @yochimitso Reset the hub, or turn it off and on, it's the only way you get rid of that error.

  • @TRaGiiKzZ ok thanks :)

  • @yochimitso hey, i had the same problem. what worked for me was i went to home network and unassigned every one which was default. then i assigned the one i had made earlier on, in jake's case "xbox360help" :) hope this helps xD

  • @ZaacProductions thanks :D but i just refreshed my hub back to factory settings and it worked :D

  • @yochimitso *Note, once the hub turns off and on, it will happen again, to avoid this happening...

Go onto physical addresses, click onto the xbox 360 IP address, and it will say 'Always assign this IP to this address' or something like that, you have to tick yes. Then if the hub turns off and on it will keep the same IP address otherwise you could end up with a static ip.

  • i did thisbut and error message came up when i tryed to add it saying........ The game or application you’ve selected conflicts with an application () you’ve already assigned to another device.

Please remove the other application or select the same device

  • Great info, now I can finally play a Fiffa 11 game online

  • @killabape Haha :D

  • NOTE: if it doesnt work at first you might have to restart your hub

  • You legend! xD I've been stuck not being able to play any games online for months! Cheers!

  • @Alexxxxxxeei Cheers. :D

  • can anyone help me please because i did all the port forwarding and applied it but it doesn't come up when i search for it ??

  • you are amazing 3.5 hours it took me and i shouted and everyone was asleep

  • @Leith124 haha :)

  • Thankyou so much! 2 weeks of suddenly not bein able to find cod matches solved! Had to restore defaults too. Thanks again :)

  • @SillyLorna No problem!

  • Comment removed

  • after doing all the port adding ect. no physical connectionfor XBOX360 comes up. so i dunno what to do about it? can you help?

  • @cjme23 i had that too, cos my xbox wireless it was a few numbers underneath the wireless bit. if u disconnect xbox then wait a min an refresh the page ur xbox will of gone, therefore u know which one it is! hope that makes sense lol

  • @cjme23 if your on wireless find the ip in the column and click it
