I think he means when you stack 4 same-colored puyo at the very top, but only three show up on screen, so the puyos don't pop. But when that column of puyo lowers, the 4 at the top will pop.

Ah, it's okay, everyone's a noob at one point. But anyways, an emulator, specifically a "video game emulator" allows you to play video games on your computer rather than on a console. Most video game emulators today are ones for older systems like the NES, SNES, Sega Genesis. Some go all the way up to the last generation of consoles (ex.- Gamecube and PS2). Emulators are free, however I think they're considered illegal, at least to the video game industry that is. But no one really cares, lol.
