  • it seems like a funny game, its already playable in demul with 45 fps, but the slide and jump buttons dont work properly,

but virtua fighter 4, virtua striker 3, and beach spikers are perfectly playable, initital d arcade stage go perfect to but after the first race the game crashes, and club kart european season, needs some work to go ingame,

demul is definetely is the best emu :)

  • I always wanted this game to come out on Dreamcast and was hoping it would as it was announced roughly round about the same time as the Dreamcast's demise was :'( Its a shame it was never ported to a another console either :( Classic Sega originality none-the-less that would not be noticed in the world today where everyone is too CoD obsessed to even care :( I miss all Sega consoles

  • .. ofcourse objects like other cars, big trees and lamp posts and walls, you should avoid hitting.

  • Actually, what is interesting about this game is that you really are supposed to crash into smaller objects, like potplants, smaller trees, cones, posters and all sorts of stuff. Even though it's in the middle of the road. You score more points the faster speed you have when driving into these objects, sort of like Sonic is collecting his rings. I used to play the game trying to aviod all objects before. Anyway, I miss a view-button. I think I'd have more precision with a closer perspective.

  • There's no emulation yet as far as I know. But there's hope, you have the Dreamcast emu, also the naomi emu, I think. This is naomi2, so I will probably take a little more time and a faster PC.

  • Well theres already naomi 2 emulation at pretty decent speeds(I get vf4 at 44 fps).Problem I think this game is not properly dumped but iam not sure. Also if this game require special controls I doubt its emulated.

  • Interesting. VF4 emulated? Aha, Demul seems to be the emulator. There are Wild Riders cartridges and kits now and then on ebay, so I guess redumping it wouldn't be too hard if you got the proper equipment. As for the controller it's just a simple analog right/left steering with two switches up/down for jump and slide. And the gas and two types of brakes.

  • @accel99 Actually the controls work perfectly. But a gamepad is reccomended for better control.

The emulation for this game is very good. The only thing is the sky's missing and you need a very fast pc to play it at fullspeed. A computer with a 3.2 GHz processor and 1GB video card shoul just about do it.

The high requirements are because it's a 3D ploygon game therefore more resources are requied to run it than say Guilty Gear or Marvel vs. Capcom. Hope that clears things up a bit

  • that is the greatest game that ive never played is there an emulator or something that i can get in order to have this? plz msg me

  • at the end of the game you jump from a pier onto an aircraft carrier

ive beaten this game many of times when i was younger at chucky cheeses. lol

  • Yes, it's the complete and only track from start to end. It is a little short I think. The game is fun while it lasts though. I'll do the other rider next time I rig my camera infront of my machines again.

  • Was that the entire game? please do the other rider. One of my all time favorites. Wish they still had this at the local arcade.

  • although i enjoyed playing as both characters, i enjoyed playing as Keith (because of his theme song)

  • The game is like a cross between SEGA's own Harley Davidson & L.A. Riders, Crazy Taxi and Comix Zone (Genesis).

  • Don't forget about Jet Grind Radio :)

  • Yes, Jet Set/Grind Radio would also fit into the mix.

  • especially since JSR and WR involve escaping the cops

  • awesome game!
