wii sensor bar uses bluetooth technolagy to use the sensor bar... and the bluetooth gadget thing works good with the wiimote...i think...tho i think 99.9% of that explanation is true.
the only thing the sensor bars does is tell the wii mote what it is pointing at. all it is is 2 led lights, infact you dont even need a sensor bar to play wii games and use the interface all u need is 2 candles. itll work just the same
Sensor bar has no bluetooth, it's two IR lights and that's it. The Wiimote has both bluetooth and an IR sensor, IR sensor detects remote position relative to the screen, accelerometers inside detect how the remote is being held, bluetooth sends it all to the system (or PC/Lego in this case)
