anyone who's asking, the effect on the solo was first made in the 60s accidentally when the spring reverb on a fender amp broke leaving the pallet the springs held up to fall loose which then loosened off one of the sub valves (in other words the "non" pre amp valves) in the power amp, synthesis professors later used a ring modulator and chorus to remake this sound in analogue circuitry and digital

@pstrokeslibsarctic its some sort of modulation. there is definitely reverb and i think it might be either a chorus effect or a modulated delay. you r best bet is a chorus and reverb effect pedal. if you screw with the settings enough, you can get a similar sound
