This is the song that got me into the Decemberists. I used to work at a record store, and I was looking to buy a new CD from a band I hadnt listened to before. My friend recommended The Decemberists, album Castaways and Cutouts. I bought the CD, put it in the CD player in my car.... and just a few chords into this, the opening track, I was hooked. This is now my favorite rainy day song.
