look at the space that luis fabiano created for himself after he pass to kaka.

if kaka was in top shape, he would pass right back because fabiano was then in a 1 on 1 situation with stekelenburg. but kaka wanted to score so he would get back his self esteem. but credit to stekelenburg, it was still a great shot from kaka.

He could have stood even further out but that might be risky as kaka could shoot the other side. Think of the zidane header buffoon saved in 2006, you think casillas can do that? I agree that casillas is probably the best goalkeeper today but that doesn't mean he can save everything :)
