I like the product ... but at the begining you stated that you did not want to use wire because you didn't want it to go next to a little girls head .... but you used the purple wire with stars.... so isn't that as bad????

I don't currently own a Bowdabra & could easily make most of the bows. However, that doesn't mean I won't in the future. It isn't as easy as just hammering a couple of boards together, because wood and other materials will stick and snag to the expensive ribbon. I applaud the maker of this system for saving many people the time and frustration that can come from bowmaking.

You can easily make a "bowdabra" yourself at home.

Just a few boards glued (or nailed) together.

But it's a nice Idea if you don't have a third end to hold your fabric while you're designing and making the bow or whatever~ ;)

you can make a bow with out a bowdabra but using a bowdabra is faster
