  • This is a song !!!!!! This tells a story....how did music go from this to the crap that's played nowadays ??????

  • I WAS GLAD MY MOM WAS THERE WHEN I WENT THROUGH IT

  • I love a man who isn't afraid to let me know if I've hurt him, if he doesn't want to lose me, that he loves me... I have never met a man like him before. He's truly a strong, strong man.

  • I couldn't love a man who didn't cry. Real men cry..

  • ive been looking for this song for 74 years! i heard it on the phonograph and after years of searching, asking people on the street, those that I work with, even my dog, ive found it!

    thankyou!!!!!!!!!somuch!!!!!!!!

  • THIS IS SO TRUE I WENT THROUGH THIS

  • Our songs had lyrics, not just repetative verses. Our songs told a story, about our hearts, feelings, and emotions. Our songs talked about relationships that lasted for a year minimum, not just one night stands. Our songs talked about real men that we grew up with, who knew how to express their emotions verbally. Our songs, if you were fortunate to grow up in this era.....were beautiful.

  • I love this song... My mom played it all the time...

  • when music allowed us to say what the soul felt

  • This song is just for us men to let all women know we can hurt " just as hard as you " / just like Bobby womack's " if you think yor're lonely now / IT's just for men !! / JERRY BUTLER's "CHALK IT UP" is for women / all women need to own a copy of jerry's album "SUITE FOR THE SINGLE GIRL" and Willie Hutch's " COLOR HER SUNSHINE " / These albums help us men to understand and appreciate you more IF YOU WILL LET US / WE NEED SOME UNDERSTANDING TOO!!

  • Enjoy2011able this song was not written or sang for women / this song is for all men / for ONCE can we just have SOMETHING to O

  • I wish this song was sung to me the first time my heart was broken. I would have felt so much better.... My mum simply said don t cry over his ass. Crying will make you look ugly. Go out and have some fun with your friends. I know she just wanted me to feel better, but it's good to cry your eyes out (with permission)

Somehow people always tell you NOT to cry.

  • When I listen to this song it makes me sad for the young ladies that are growing up today... Because the young men of today are so desensitization on how to treat a lady. You can tell by the lyrics that are sung in todays music... Ladies are called bitches, and hoes, and they think that they always have to drop it like its hot....And it makes me sad that some may never know how it is to really be treated and loved by a man....

  • @negie78000 you see it clear as day..so just play this muxic as much as you can while they are babys till they become men and women, like i did and my kids know what real music is....thx 4 your heart and soul and feeling the true troubles of our children

  • @uniquegod2001 I know beautiful song

  • @negie78000 you are so right, the young people of today have no idea how music was so touching & made you feel good when you listened to it............

  • @negie78000 Young men must be trained up. They dont love themselves so how can they love anyone else. It starts from within there are no excuses for any wrong actions. We must love like GOD loves us when HE gave HIS SON. That is the only WAY. Be Blessed Be Free
