  • you guys are great. I'd like to do the same thing

  • 3 people prefer Wal-Mart.

  • Will be doing some needed Videos. Sara and I are in NY getting married, so yes we are a couple.

  • @catskillwoodgas congrats!

  • @catskillwoodgas

    Congratulations.

  • aw

  • You guys are kewl :) any chance of dated footage uploaded to youtube in the future? I digg your off grid vids.

  • @ikambor First off, your vids ar AMAZING....oh yeah...YOU DON'T HAVE ANY. How about YOU post some videos, and then come back.

  • You guys are hot. Are you couple? I would love to know what's going on with everything you are trying out. We are in Austin and I want to get more off the grid.

  • I am from western New York and would to be off the grid. At present, I am working with a few friends that own some land to build a green house and six or seven raise beds. After this we don't know what is next.

I myself would love to relocate and live off the grid. Just wondering how much are you spending/investing in this project? (if you don't want your comment here please email privately). Thank you,

  • Cool rock wall. Way windy in the middle of the vid. Plus it was also windy when you where in Texas. Maybe use some micks? Love the vids other wise. Love the last part,LOL Wish I could donate, no work yet.

  • Hello Casey, You seem to have a knowledge about homebrewed electricity, perhaps you can answer a question? I am spinning a 1.5 Hp treadmill motor with a 15.5 HP craftsman rideing mower. At idle,it makes over 110 volts, Now, how do I use that to get electric to my shop? Thanks, Jerry

  • Treadmill motors are almost always DC so you are limited to what tools have whats known as Universal motors: circular saws and cheep table saws tent to have them. BUT this generator should not be used to run tools directly, try using it to charge batteries (24 volt set) and use a 2,000 watt (or better) inverter to run your tools. Or find a 120 volt regulated alternator.

  • I really enjoy what you are doing

The audio on this is really bad making it the worst thing you've done.

  • hey! I wanted to say that you guys are an inpiration to me that has helped me make a leap into my own project. the wood gas truck thing is awesome and your efforts here are one of those things that helped me say.. what the hell. i can do this too. my vids arent as good as yours but. you can get the idea.

    thanks alot. keep em coming.
