Jeff I really hate to ask a stupid question but exactly what kinda trailer is that....I pull a Magnolia double bunk which is just a 40ft frame with 4 bolsters and we also have pole trailers with a single pole connectin the front bunk with the rear of the trailer....is your trailer anything like that???
We have high Mts and hair pin switchbacks here so that trailer is hitched at the stinger out the back of the truck frame. Brand is Lincoln. Two bunks one mounted on the truck and one on the trailer. Both bunks turn and there is a compansator pipe that slides in and out of the reach when turning, It's quite the set up.
Only some one who has driven both would know......And I have.....and im telling you....a WS with a CAT will get you up out the woods with a load of logs.
Awesome vids.. props on your driving.. Nice and smooth.. Your old man must have taught you well.. lol. .gotta love the guy passin ya.. there's always some jerkoff in a hurry to go nowhere.. keep'r rollin driver. .rubber side down.. later
Those little chains dangling? That's dangerous! Imagine if the road leaned one way or the the other and your windshield was right there at the right time? (in another truck for example?)
Chains should not dangle from the drivers side of a log truck... NEVER!
I agree but that is not in the way trust me. I usually have them tucked under when I haul down in the states but in Canada I have to tie the outside of the binder down with the chain so it hangs about 10 inches . Good thinking! :)
i was trying to figure out where u were , i knew as soon as i saw the old gospel hall. they have addd some new bldgs to the mill huh. mr,t. where did u put the camera????????? love ya, your favorite aunt.

@g89956 Every state here has its own little rules and ideas so it really makes things a mess.

hell if someone got close enough to be hit by a chain that small they deserve to be hit by it, people need to give trucks the wide buff anyways

That is cool! How did you mount that?
doobisbone 3 years ago
Had a tripod and mounted it flat against the front of the bunk corner with a bunjie cord and with a tissue behind it to protect.

I can't believe how sturdy and non shaky it is. Even the camera doesnt have that jolty action to it ya know?..

Very nice perspective. Good camera placement. I love hearing the sounds of a truck from out side the cab like that. Great video.
