Oh yeah? That was a nice gift! Definitely get one for yourself, they are awesome to have around. I was shocked how many kewl stones they have at the museum center gift shop. They are chocked full of gorgeous stones and they are not badly priced.
I havent been to the museum center since I was young. Thanks for the info, I have been trying to find a place local where I can buy more stones for myself and for my sub giveaway but it has been rather difficult. Someone told me about this trading post Spirit Wind but its ALL the way in Amelia.
They are easy to find online but Id rather support my local met. stores
Awesome! Yeah I couldn't believe it. And aside from parking its free to go into the shops. Also check out the gift shop downstairs by the Egypt exhibit they have some really cool stuff on Egyptian goddesses and gods. Really neato! Of course there are always the little witchie shops and those are the real locals that need support. My favorite is one in Newport called Seventh street gifts.
I love Apache Tears. They're beautiful stones. Of course, I'm an Arizona Native, so that may be part of the reason I feel the way I do about Apache Tears. :)
Yeah they are pretty kewl! Awesome history too!
