  • Scud Cloud - caught in thunderstorm outflow

  • is it just me or does that look like a dick?

  • this storm is hardly supercell

  • Where in epping was this?

I live in epping butI was over eltham that dau and it rained that heavy you couldn't see more than 50 meters away for about 5 hours.

  • it looks like gods hand :O and on christmas too

  • .if you look from 28seconds on. to the left it looks like something is touching down. imho i think you were filming the wrong part of the storm.

  • @Brisky26 what you're seeing to the left is precipitation. The rain curtain/core was to the left/behind the camera. The wall cloud feature in the centre was visibly rotating, with areas of very low rotating scud and funnels forming over and over.

  • @Brisky26 Na mate VK was filming in the perfect spot....you were looking at the warcloud which from a distance looks like its touching the ground.but in actual fact is the calling card in a supercell like this for tornadic activity u can clearly see the 2 tornado's form in VK's film..tornado on the left classic wedge tornado...and the right 1 was a rope tornado both looked like they had massive potential

  • omfg! i live in epping, holy chit!!!!

  • i am, god

  • Oh my god.. I saw this from the Craigieburn Bypass. I thought it looked like a funnel cloud, but my partner didn't believe me. I can't believe I was right! We raced this weather back to Craigieburn haha. Great Capture, thanks for posting!

  • So amazing-- Couldn't you film longer :(

  • @CwAziEGiRl camera battery died at the most damn inconvenient moment!!!!! By the time I got a new one in, it has dissipated. Storm was moving quite fast too. Had trouble keeping up with the selection of road directions I could take.

  • @GREENVK Oh that is not fair!! Darn camera battery! :( Fair enough-- roads would be hard to find that are a safe distance away!

  • cloud looks like the hand of god pointing his finger down at earth like he is angry with us then hits us with massive hail .

  • @MrCohibaboy nature is scientific, not religious

  • @hudstar2011 you know what it looks like dont deny it.

  • @MrCohibaboy a funnel caused by swirling winds. Geographical :)

  • OMG from 0:20 it's like a hand.

  • saw this same one from Thomastown looking north. also have footage of it.

  • it was fucked at my area hail the size of fucking tennis balls

  • Wait, i hear the sound thunder storm and got rain with ice... 3rd time in Base Reservoir area... and thank GOD..

  • @MrBrotherbear1977 also my stepbrother got band new car and they hitting on roof, he have to pay insurance cost him $3,000.00 that destroy Xmas Days..

  • Was eating xmas dinner at Epping when this storm hit. My sisters car was under a fallen tree outside our house

  • I saw this thing starting to come together over Ballarat. I was outside when I spotted the rotating hook cloud. It dropped a small funnel that curved back over my parents house, and I managed to point it out to my family. It dissolved quickly and continued on its way to Melbourne, only to drop a tornado and keep spitting out funnels near my house!

I wasn't quick enough to film it in Ballarat. Good work!
