  • Is there any place to attach a one point sling to this? Also would an iFit barrel adapter fit down the shroud?

  • @ZappyRadio There is a sling attachment point at the bottom of the stock and the iFit will fit in the shroud without issue.

  • @HustlePaintball Awesome thanks. Also how long are the Rails?

  • @ZappyRadio On the Salvo the shroud rails are 8 inches and the front rail is about 18 inches :) Hope that helps. -Russell

  • Hi guys, love your vids. I have watched a TON of project salvo and alpha black vids and I think it just comes down to the look but what would you guys say is the better gun overall?

  • @MrLincolnWoof I like the Salvo folding stock and the quad rails as well. On the field they are identical but I think the Salvo gives you more versatility for just a few extra dollars - Jeff

  • what if tippmann released like a 1600 dollar electro out of nowhere and it ended up being the best marker out there lol

  • how is these marker for left handed people? can you change it or ill have to buy another one

  • @luisronaldofigo There are no specific left handed markers out there and there is no modification to make the marker feed from the left.

  • @HustlePaintball thanks im new to the sport and looking for a new markers :P sorry my misinformation

  • Also a good idea for another video can be the comparison between the Project Salvo and the Alpha Black Tactical, also in the same video add a shooting comparison between this two

  • @CheleSegura7 They are exactly the same marker internally and with the same barrel they shoot exactly the same. The only difference is the stock, shroud, magazine and the handle on the Alpha. None of these affect the performance of the marker.

  • where can I buy a cheap egrip for the project salvo?

  • @CheleSegura7 The E-Grip upgrade for the US Army markers are all priced the same at the request of Tippmann.

  • Ok thanks guys. You are so helpful. The kindness in this world today ;)

  • @callinikka4life, the barrel looks pricy. I was looking at the J&J 16 inch ceramic barrel. But I heard rumors that anything over 14 inches is just wasted air to push the ball out. And does the longer the barrel length affect the accuracy? Or the range?

  • @C3r0C3r0 Anything over 14 inches does not provide any distance or accuracy benefit but will take more air for each shot.

  • Ok thanks a lot, now buying accessories is so much easier!!

  • Ok and just another question(s), I have been looking to buy another barrel. But I don't know which threads are for the salvo. I am questing 98? AND one more question, can the picatinny rails also fit weaver rail products?

  • @C3r0C3r0 The Project Salvo uses the 98 threads and most items built for weaver will work on picatinny rails but always check for exclusions.

  • @C3r0C3r0 sup man Ethan from hustle paintball told me this barrel Pathogen 2 Mil-Sim Sniper Barrel - 98/US Army - 14 inch is a great barrel i went on and bought it and this barrel is excellent the accuracy is great i bought it for my project salvo. also if you have the project salvo you should get that barrel and the low profile cyclone feed system and the E-grip kit also use compressed air not CO2 ...CO2 will harm you gun...

  • Can you take the pistol grip of in the back? Or is it one piece with the gun?

  • @C3r0C3r0 You cannot remove the pistol grip as it is a part of the receiver itself. If you performed some significant modification it could be possible, but you would have to be versed in all of the tools necessary to do that.

  • ok so i just got my project salvo about a week ago. i put it all together and went to set my response trigger up and found that i have an air leak where the ASA goes into the braided coil. does anyone know of a way to fix this or what could be wrong with it?

  • @Snakebiteloo Remove the fitting, clean off any old teflon tape and the re-wrap the threads and reattach the fitting. That should take care of it.

  • @HustlePaintball ok thanks thats kinda what i figured but thought better of doing it first

  • can you take off the shroud?

  • @sicslipkno555666 The shroud can easily be removed without affecting the performance of the marker.

  • @HustlePaintball thanks haha i commented that on the first part of the vid and then watched you take it off kinda felt derpy.

  • @sicslipkno555666 No worries :)

  • waiting on my salvo now, living in canada i had to order it from a different company but i wish i knew about this review before i ordered it, would have made the choice a hole lot quicker. got a response trigger and the cyclone feed for it with a 20 inch barrel and apex-2 tip

  • which is better Tippmann A5 or pROJECT sALVO

  • iS PROJECT SALVO better than TIPPMANN A5?

  • @AbeybladeAsteR70185 The A5 is better as it comes with a Cyclone Feed and has more aesthetic upgrades available for it. As for how well it fires though, they are both almost the exact same internally, so they will shoot very similarly.

  • @AbeybladeAsteR70185 The A5 is better as it comes with a Cyclone Feed and has more aesthetic upgrades available for it. As for how well it fires though, they are both almost the exact same internally, so they will shoot very similarly.

  • There are various rail options, you can either use a riser to elevate your sights or an offset rail to mount your sights to one side. If you have an offset hopper the NCStar MARF will work just fine.

  • is the shroud metal?

  • @lucasoildavid Its is constructed of a impact resistance polymer.

  • Hey do you guys recommend I buy this marker as my first gun?

  • @xXDiscipleGamingXx The Project Salvo is a great first marker! It comes with a one year warranty and is very reliable and easy to maintain. Let me know if you have any other questions!

  • Hi HustlePaintball, I have a question. It seems like an O-ring came out from my Sierra One marker but I don't know here it came from. I checked my tank but it still had its O-ring. What other places should I check? And will it affect my gun in any way if I don't return it?

  • @MultiToxxin Please send a screenshot to support@hustlepaintball of what the o-ring looks like and we can let you know which one it is.

  • i recently got my project salvo and Ive seen other videos of it and people have some crazy attachments i wanna put a longer barrel i am a long shooter also a close quarter one to also i was wondering is it hard to install a E-grip kit?

  • @calinikka4life It is not extremely hard to install an E-Grip kit, just make sure you watch our video on it! As for a barrel, the most optimal length for any barrel on any paintball marker in the industry is 14 inches.

  • i have one of these and im looking for some good upgrades, i already have an E-grip, Foregrip/bipod, Aftermarket barrel, Cyclone feed, and carry handle on top. i was looking into maybe a red dot sight and something to help the cyclone (like the techt squishy paddles) do you have any recommendations on useful gear to add?

  • @vgmax1 If you don't have compressed air, you should definitely get that, and as always, upgrading your Cyclone Feed System with TechT or Lapco upgrades will be a huge improvement.

  • @HustlePaintball ah alright, thanks a lot, and i will be buying from you in the future :)

  • @vgmax1 Great - let me know if you need any more questions answered!

  • @vgmax1 How well is this gun working for you? I'm trying to choose between this gun and the X7. Not the Phenom, just the X7. I have an A-5 now but I'm probably going to take it back to trade it in for the Salvo or X7.

  • @ReinforcedRitter its working pretty well for me, and i have a ton of upgrades in it. its very customize-able, very reliable, and pretty accurate. the only problem ive had was that occasionally during games, the bolt will become stuck and wont fire, but its easy to fix: just pull it back again and its fine. this is very likely because my gun was bought used off ebay >.< honestly i think the X-7 is better. ive never used it but people with them have told me they love them. i have no space left xD

  • @ReinforcedRitter so yeah in continuation, my gun is nice, but the X-7 ive heard is really good, also if you plan to use an E-trigger on the salvo, there is no selector switch, its an aggravating buttin in the trigger grip that needs an alan wrench to change fire modes -.-

anyway it really comes down to personal preference, both are excellent guns with a lot of upgrades out on the market for them, although i think the salvo looks more badass :P

  • not saying i will get a double trigger because that would ruin the whole mil sim thing does it take one like can u remove the finger guard

  • @THESoloBeast Yes it uses any Tippmann 98 Double Trigger, if you remove the trigger guard though it cannot be put back on.

  • @HustlePaintball so u cant put in a double trigger finger guard

  • @THESoloBeast Unfortunately, no. But you can install a double trigger. Wacky, I know :p

  • @HustlePaintball Is there any difference between the alpha black and project salvo in terms of range? (like does one gun start dropping before another)

  • @WundahfulWorld They are exactly the same markers mechanically and will shoot nearly identical.

  • is it a 98 thread?

  • @HyP3rxMiTchXx0 Yes, it sure is.

  • @HustlePaintball thnxs for telling, going to get mine in like 2 hours! great video

  • hey hustlepaintball!! just wondering if the rocketcock's or rap4 seal bolt unit fit on the salvo or bravo one?

  • @jigzaw047 it should but, as always, be careful with RAP4 because their product quality is usually pretty low.

  • here is my question.. for my very first paintball gun, should I get the project salvo? I really only do woodsball and stuff like that... this is very confusing for a first timer like me

  • @KaaaablamCommentator For your first gun, a Project Salvo would be fine. You could also look into the Tactical Black, which is the same gun with fewer shroud rails and a carry handle. It's preference really.

  • @KaaaablamCommentator Dude, i am exactly the same way rite now. Same question and everything lol

  • can you get custom hand grips for the Salvo?

  • @falconsfan720 I'm sure you can.

  • @HustlePaintball do you know where i could?

  • @falconsfan720 We're familiar with a number of manufacturers that make custom grips for high end speedball markers, but presently we aren't familiar with a company that makes custom Salvo grips.

  • Could you make a video on how to clean it? I would love a good youtube vid on how to.

  • @Yougetnothingulose Thank you for the suggestion, we will put it on our list!

  • @HustlePaintball can I change the stock?if i can does it need to be a 98c stock?

  • @ibm322 Yes, you can, and yes, it would need to be a Tippmann 98 stock.

  • @HustlePaintball Can you put the x7 or a5 flatine barel on the salvo ?

  • @CanadienFrancais22 No, it needs to be the tippmann 98 flatline barrel.

  • i wanna put a flat line barrel on it but i don't know how and i don't know if it would work.... can i put the 98 custom on it without taking any other pieces off just switching the barrel?

  • @myxboxisbroke1209 Unfortunately, you cannot put a flat line barrel on a salvo, but what you can do is buy a 18 inch Apex 2 and put it on, it does the same thing as a flatline.

  • it look like a pistol only with body

  • Thanks alot - Also is it worth it to get the ACT upgrade if you have a cyclone feed system installed?

  • @ghost210 Unfortunately the ACT upgrade does not exist, it only comes on the ACT 98's. If you have a Project Salvo and are looking at upgrading and you already have the cyclone feed, I would recommend getting the Egrip

  • I'm thinking about purchasing the Apex 2 barrel system for the salvo...will the 14" fit with the stock shroud or should I get a longer barrel? My concern is the Apex 2 "siliencer" tip not being able to install because of contact with the shroud.

  • @ghost210 You will need the 18" Apex 2 as the 14" will not clear the shroud.

  • @gotloveforpaintball This is definitely possible but the lines will not really match up.

  • i own this gun and it is amazing but this might be a stupid question, can i put a tippman 98 custom barrel on this?

  • @GODSMACKisLIFE The stock 98 Custom Pro barrel will work as it is the same length as the stock Salvo barrel. Threads are the same so any barrel that fits one will fit the other.

  • Two things. First, is this gun better than the Alpha Black Tactical? Second, which barrels are good for that gun in your guys website?

  • @Killerbe2758 It'll perform identically to the Alpha Black Tactical, but in my opinion it's a bit better, since it comes with a quad rail and a better stock, so it's worth the extra $20. The Pathogen 2 barrel on our website is one of our best and most popular barrels! Give us a call or email us with any other questions!

  • I noticed you guys have aluminum power tubes that work for these, will the aluminum tube work with the rufus dawg wicked bolt? Or would it be better to also get a aluminum bolt to go with it? Thank you

  • @damnationofsociety The Rufus Dawg bolt is ONLY compatible with the Rufus Dawg powertube. I'd recommend getting an aluminum powertube and an aluminum bolt combo - much higher quality than the Rufus Dawg version.

  • @HustlePaintball Sweet, thank you very much. One other thing, i heard some where that with the project salvo some people had to change to 1/8 line when they upgraded to HPA, something about it not being as efficient and as good as it could be with the new line. Any idea if this is true?

  • @damnationofsociety The Project Salvo is good to go with HPA right out of the box. Changing the line is not necessary

  • @HustlePaintball awesome, thanks alot.

  • I need help please hustlepaintball!

I wanted to get a BT Rip Clip on my salvo...but u guys said I need a FLASC adaptor...I just looked in ur website and u have the bt4-m98 rip clip and the TMseries rip clip....

Which Rip Clip will I need???

And u guys got the TM7 flasc adaptor and the TM15 flasc adaptor...

    Which adapter will I need???

  • @Doom3guy1994 There is now a Rip Clip specifically for the 98 which will also fit the Project Slavo, no adapter necessary!

  • @HustlePaintball

im very sorry but.......are you sure?

i asked u guys if the 98 cutom Ripclip will work but u guys said i needed an adaptor.

i just want to get my head straight....so the 98 Custom BT Rip Clip Will work on my Project Salvo?

  • @Doom3guy1994 Those adapters are to make Tm7 and Tm15 compatible, we also offer versions for Tippmann A5 and Phenom. the Project Salvo is similar enough to the 98 to accommodate the Rip Clip for 98.

  • @HustlePaintball

ill get the 98 rip clip for my project salvo.

    thank u very much!

by the way....do you think ill run into any problems if i install the response trigger to my salvo with the Rip Clip on?

  • @Doom3guy1994 The two should work great together! No worries.

  • hey guys if you had a cyclone on it, do you think it kinda messes up the line of sights?

  • @JBmcwiener It often helps people's lines of sight, especially if you get an offset hopper. That way you can look directly over the top of your gun.

  • @JBmcwiener it definitely helps. i have my red dot sight on the front of my gun right now because the gravity hopper blocks half of it if its in the back or middle. but the cyclone moves it more to the right it makes more room

  • I am afraid that the barrel shroud will break off from the body, because its only held on by one part of the gun.

  • @NoComprehend every Tippmann is a pretty solid piece, I wouldn't be afraid of it breaking off with normal use.

  • can you post a video of how to clean it?

  • @Elliott871 We'll add that to our list of upcoming videos for you!

  • Are the parts metal?

  • @desertboyzero The internals are metal, and the body is metal. The quad rail and some other parts aren't. Anything specific you were looking at?

  • Do they sell salvos for left handed people?

  • @futureswat93 They do not make them for left handed people, you would just hold the marker in your left hand.

  • hey i am a lefty and i am wanting to get into paintball... im pretty new but i have experience in shooting guns.. do you have any recommendations???

  • @TheBeastRhino the new tippmann a5 is ambidextrous so you can use that if your left hand also its a good gun with cyclone feed already built in and its really easy to upgrade.

  • Comment removed

  • i'm wondering if i should get a tippman a5 or a sierra one considering i dont have much money for upgrades and i'm looking for accuracy rangfe a good to handle for a good woodsball game

  • @franck560 I would suggest an A-5 because it comes stock with a cyclone feed and it can be upgraded with a hall effect E-Grip.

  • Can the salvo take the 98 custom BT Rip Clip?

  • @Doom3guy1994 FLASC makes an adapter you can use that we sell to be able to use a Rip Clip with, out of the box it does not fit though.

  • I'm Canadian and all my stores sell the europian versions lol

  • project salvo with cyclone feed or tippmann a5? please help!

  • @ThePaintballGamer The A5 is more upgradeable and already comes with a Cyclone.

  • can i get anouther board instead of the alpha black e trigger

  • @victoria0610 Not that I know of, the E-Grip for the 98 is similar but still different and third party companies only make boards for the 98 it seems.

  • hey. what type of e trigger should i buy to fit into this gun?

  • @dakot33lax The E-trigger kit for the Alpha Black fits the Salvo.

  • Can the e-grip from an alpha black work for the salvo?

  • @FlameNinja345 Yes, they are the same marker internally, so yes that would work.

  • so can i put a weaver attachment on it?

  • @dakot33lax Yes.

  • @HustlePaintball is the Tippmann 12" Sniper Barrel for the 98 custom compatible with this gun?

  • @SonySpArTaN144 Yes.

  • are both the us army and the tpn version exactly the same?

do they both have the weaver picatinny rails?

  • @dakot33lax Yes, they are the same thing, just with a slightly different name (for licensing issues in different countries)

  • Can i install an apex barrel?????

  • @Deathtizity Yes you can, there is a 98 threaded version. It's just a matter of finding the barrel as of right now. Kee Action Sports has been really shady on getting them shipped to us, though we do have the Lapco Bigshot Plus Apex Tip which is MUCH higher quality.

  • @24ResidentEvil wait, its in the video, im retarded, just ignore me.

  • @24ResidentEvil :) No worries - we just filmed a video today on how to install the E-Grip kit on the Project Salvo. Keep an eye on our channel and you'll see that video come up soon.

  • @HustlePaintball sweet, can't wait to check it out. You guys are great!

  • can u install a double trigger on this marker ?

  • @Dakine09ify Yes you can but you would have to cut the trigger guard off. If in the future you wanted the single trigger back, you'd have to buy two new receiver halves.

  • how does this compare directly to the alpha black? Is this an upgrade or are there pro's/con's to both. I'm asking because I've narrowed down my choice to the salvo or the alpha black, but dont know which one would be better

  • @venom0237 It would be a good idea to check out our review on the Alpha Black. They both have their pros and cons so it's really a personal choice. All the internals are identical but its about the extra rails or the aesthetics of the marker. So check our our other review on the Alpha Black and hopefully that will help your decision!

  • Comment removed

  • What is it made of? Aluminium??

  • @gamefragwalkthrough The two receiver halves are made of high grade aluminum, the shroud and magazine are made of impact resistant polymer.

  • @HustlePaintball so there are no tacky plastic parts? Just to be sure that in combat I can go prone fast

  • @gamefragwalkthrough You don't have to worry about the integrity of the Salvo, that thing like any Tippmann marker can take a ridiculous beating and come out swinging.

  • @HustlePaintball thanks, takes a lot of my mind :P

  • @darrinkelly14 I would suggest going with the 98 Custom then, it is smaller, has tactical rails on top, the same internals of the Project Salvo and has been around for over 10 years with many different upgrades available.

  • @darrinkelly14 They can be removed, but might I suggest the Tippmann X7, if you are looking for something a bit smaller. It also has rails on top to mount tactical accessories.

  • so if u keep the feed neck still installed on the gun while u take it apart, the spring wont come out??

  • @shugo207 Depending on how you move the gun around when you dissasemble your gun it could still fly out, I just suggest removing it gently so you can keep track of it.

  • @Baconeatersunited They don't work together, you can only use one or the other.

  • i dont like how if you get the cyclone feed system the stock loses the feature to fold away and can only slide in and out disappointing :(

  • @Marshmallows10101010 It doesn't lose the feature to fold.. it just doesn't tuck in as well. It is definitely a drawback but the positives of the cyclone far outweigh the negative.

  • are the mags from the alpha black and project salvo interchangeble?

  • @SnipingSchool Yes, they sure are!

  • id like to see this with flatline on it

  • whats the clip made of on that gun? it sounds alot heavier than the one i saw at local paintball shop.

  • @qwikyking The magazine is made of a high grade polymer. It's pretty lightwieght.

  • What materials is this gun made of? Like the body, rail, sights, and trigger?

  • @125jones The reciever halves are made of aluminum (this includes the top picatinny rail) the shroud is made of high-grade polymer, as are the sights and trigger.

  • @HustlePaintball hey i just purchased a siera one and im inlove but i would really like a red dot sight! i saw some bt ones for just 20 bucks but i was wondering which ones would fit on the marker and do u know of anygood ones to purchase for a lower price. plz reply thx

  • @Daimen555 Any sight with a weaver/picatinny mount will fit on your sierra one. Take a look on our site at NCStar red dots, they are very high quality at competitive prices and come with an amazing warranty.

  • @HustlePaintball ty for help bra. great review and great help. Subscribed!!!!!!

  • @HustlePaintball yeah, where can i get it? i prefer not to buy it on ethernet.

  • @hecto95 Check with your local paintball stores to see if they have them in stock.

  • if i get a project salvo reciever, in can fix it to my alpha black?
