also, as a few other people have pointed out, chernobyl and pripyat are indeed abandoned and nobody lives there. it's possible to visit and guided tours can be arranged, but it is derelict and like a ghost town - the people in the video don't actually live there.

I just watched a report on Pripyat, and this is a ghost town, no one is allowed to live there since 1986 ! It's located around ten kilometer from Chernobyl, and this is why the city is now abandonned. Maybe the first scenes is Pripyat, with the empty building, but the scenes with the people aren't in Pripyat, just for you to know :)
