I'm argentinean and I still don't understand why only england sings the british anthem, whereas scotland and wales sing their own anthem. Really, just to know. Because it confuses me a lot.

Most English people don't like singing "God Save the Queen", you're correct, it is the British anthem. England doesn't have an official anthem so we sing this. Most English people would prefer to sing 'Jerusalem' or 'Land of Hope and Glory'

@martinmaine1990 - it's becuase Britain started everything, they get more of everything. So we can enter 4 teams (England, Scotland, Wales, NI) and England gets 4 anthems (this, Land of hope and glory, jerusalem, rule brittania). Since we're already taking up 4 songs the other 3 teams get an extra song each. So altogether Britain gets 7 anthems.
And no, the falklands can't have one too.
