@FrerardBigFan In the previous episode Ellen says that Susan must be trying to convert her, and Susan makes a joke about going back to Head Office and telling them that she failed in recruiting Ellen, and says that she would've gotten a free toaster oven if she had. In the end, Ellen signs a form to say that she is a lesbian and Susan receives a free toaster oven for converting her.

How can anyone not love Ellen? She's funny, sweet, warm and a genuinely nice human being. She had the balls to come out when no one else did and she lost her show because of it. I admire her courage and honesty and I've been a fan of hers since back in the 80's. You go, Ellen! You are awesome!

I loved seeing Laura Dern in this episode. Not only was she absolutely believable in her role (and it was believable that Ellen would fall for her - who wouldn't?), it gave her a chance to show off her comedic chops. She has exquisite timing, and I'd really like to see her do more comedy.
