It took me a month to perfect this move during those arcade days ( and ALOT of tokens ) , but when I learned that you could insert back while doing p+k+d before doing downforward p+k, then I could pull it off half the time during a real fight. But I would sometimes get beaten up by some Jacky Bryant or Kage player,hehehe....
I know I would do it all the time,there is a way harder move from akira which I could never do.also a three hit combo.forgot how it was since this was back in the clinton days
It's amazingly difficult to pull off, but mastering VF requires far better finger skills than pretty much any fighter. The SPoD is always fun to see in action.
Nearly 20 years later, I'm still trying to master this game. And I've only ever used Lion.

This move is so hard. I basically gave upon on the 3rd hit and am happy with the first 2 setting up a behind hit (that isn't guaranteed in 2.1).
