Of course you can back up to a loading dock with a double, just takes skill. Most warehouses in Australia were built a long time before B-Doubles came about so it takes practice. Most places I have to unload my A and B trailer are reversed into loading docks in small yards with other trucks in the way...
How do you load/unload the first trailer with the axles sticking out so far it doesn't look like it could back up to a loading dock do the axles slide or something?
this one only load or unload from the side, but another trailer can slide and beck up to loadin dock. But this trailer you can see on the picture its have mas floor and you can set up in any pozition you like...

this is in OZ thet is not volvo sound but volvo before instoled cummins engine until euro 4 and 5 come out and stop after thet now only volvo engine.
