I took my R6 muffler and drilled out the rivets, cut the inside edge of the end of the muffler off. Removed that part. Then riveted the muffler cap back on. It gave it a deep aggressive note that I would argue sounds better than anything on the market.

that isn't stock.. the stock exhaust for the 2003 Yamaha R6 Special Edition paint job was black and red.. not silver
