Just finished a 30 minute course of rubbing and polishing. The effect -> very limited. I guess it depends on the phone. It did almost nothing to the display, the scratches (even the small ones) are still there, however, I decided to polish the plastic back of my phone just for fun and it did pretty good, it removed some small scratches, evening the surface. So do I recommend DISPLEX? No. But it's cheap so no harm done. You can try it out.
This product works if it doesnt take the scratch away the first time reaply and buff a little harder and if still there reaply and buff again not hard to do. Works great for my Business with Computer Repair were I see tons of scrached LCD Screens
ive used it...and took hours... but it looks new now... it was new phone only one dayw and i put it in my pocket... after i had a couple drinks and went for a walk... screatched it on my keys....luckily i got this and its acceptable now...PAUL
I'm hoping this works kuz I plan to buy some for my PSP screen. It has a few small scratches on the screen so when I play it, there's a little rainbow color effect where the scratches are and they kinda bug me.
It worked on me by melting the plastic on fire and the scratch layer would disappear but do not expose the screen for too long because it would burn and melt the whole plastic (Duh!)
I have the same product, and it works, i got deep scratches of from my watch, phone, but you have to rub a lot untill you see something like grease goes in the scratches... It is a good producht and I used my thumb for it, that worked the best ... the cloth did not help me that much :P
HAHA! I love it how you say "DO NOT USE THIS ON TOUCH SCREENS" and then everyone asks "Can I use this on a touch screen?"! HA! The human race is doomed... But decent vid, I've only got light scratching (but lots of it) so I will give this goo a shot.
One question though... Can I use this on a touch screen?
It cannot be used on resistive touchscreens (like the ones from the DS, PDA's, - the ones that have a thin policarbonat film (which is the actual touch sensitive part of the screen) on top of the LCD)!!! IYou may try using it on an iPhone first gen /3G/ 3G S cause on the top of the LCD it's just touch sensitive glass made of actual glass. I've tried to see if it works on glass and it pretty much removed some light scratches
what website are you on because on the box it said DO NOT USE ON TOUCH SCREEN its up to you because its not my phone iam just saying because i would not use this on my g1
Yes dude, it works. I just polished my PS3 top cover(or whatever the name is), and now it looks new; you have to work for a period of 5 to 10 minutes to achieve the results you want. luck Pal
eBay $9.99. Cheapest place to buy it is eBay; you can even get it now for $8.00 bucks if ur not in Florida 'cause you won't pay taxes, hate that (tax).
it duz work only on fine scratches thou my psp was coverd in them i used the whole tube with 3 separet applications and about 45 minutes of rubbing a bit extreme i know but it was well worth it
