I can so relate to the words to this song. It gives me such a peace to know that I am under His wings now and though I may have to endure the storms of this life.... He is there to give me refuge.
Years ago, I had already purchased a cassette of "Make Us One"---a project done solely by women of gospel music that we are all aware of. This song is on that project--by the Ruppes. BUT, the first time I heard and saw them perform this song was in Ft. Worth, TX Convention Center at a Gaither Homecoming concert. At the point where the more familiar song, "Under His Wings" comes in (about 2:52) truth is, the steel beams in that conv. center actually shook with the power of this song. Awesome
I appreciate so much. I will never forget the first time I saw them perform at Catawba College about nine years ago. I will never forget their spirit filled rendition of this song on that night. May God continue to bless that wonderful family.
Beautiful, just beautiful!!! I love The Ruppes. Every time I listen to this song, it gives me thrills. May God continue to bless them and their household. What a mighty god we serve!! Amen.
This was the first song I ever heard by The Ruppes, and I almost had a pentecostal spell when I heard it. I bought the whole album as soon as i could get it. God bless this great family in all that they do, whether together, or solo.
The Ruppes are great christian people, and I love them dearly.
I can't begin to describe the blessing this song has been to me and others I know. This song and Amazing Grace are my two favorite songs of all time. May God's richest blessing rest upon these dear ladies of God! Praise Jesus!
Awesome, awesome, awesome. Our God is so good and so gracious and so kind. Praise be to His name! I saw the Ruppes in McClenny, FL on my birthday 6 years ago this month. They performed this song and there is just something about that part of the chorus at the end when the daughter does the sign language. The harmony is beautiful. Jesus must be pleased with that offering in song. What a blessing. Thank you for posting this video. I haven't heard that song in a couple of years.
Glad you enjoyed it! I love seeing the Ruppes perform this song, it's one of my favorites!! They take you right in to the throne room or God with their harmonies and the pure love and adoration that they have for the Father. Watching Heather sign those words to God just makes you connect with this song on a totally different level. I'm happy to see that someone else appreciates this song as much as I do!! God bless you!!!
@HeLuvsU2 I love this song, I really needed to hear it tonight, thanks so much for posting. I suffer from depression and this song really speaks to me. God bless you.
